Yeah, but the show makes flaws,sometimes i overlook, sometimes i dont. But i dont overlook everyone of them in the name of "the show is the show, you have to enjoy, and know its different from the books".

I always pay close attention when i read and reread, that's how you can remember stuff easily.

Who's Marwyn?

Marwyn the Mage. One of the maesters Sam meets at the Citadel, the only one who would listen. That said he'd be going to Dany. Looks more a thug than maester. Met Mirri Maz Duur at somepoint. He was looking into a dragonglass candle when Sam met him.

I've always wondered at how GrrM seemingly did away with the Blackfyres...

And now I've started thinking about Ben Plumm... That dude has been hanging around Dany's court for quite a while. And he's supposed to have some distant Targaryen ancestor (or two); canon sources suspect his Targaryen ancestry from Aegon IV. But me thinks tracing his lineage that far should really dilute his "blood of old Valyria" heritage, yet the dragons still kinda like him. I won't be surprised if it turns out he's direct descendant of the Blackfyres, albeit from a female line. And he is also dark (brown) skinned....

Are you sure this guy isn't the "dark flame"?

It'll be a fine lovely kettle of fish if he suddenly pulls out the valyrian steel Blackfyre in WoW!

Eleana is descended from Aegon III not IV, the Aegon IV should be her second cousin. Its likey the swords with Illyrio or Varys, who could very well be the Blackfyres, but it could be with Ben also.

Na, dark flame is Moqorro, not only is he dark but has a flame tatto on his cheeks. Ben Plumm has dragon blood twice the amount(two drops), and its not because Ossifer Plumm married a Targ princess Eleana, who gave birth to Viserys Plumm. Its implied in TWOIAF that since Ossifer died before he was able to be a MAN and Viserys came 10months later, then he cant be a Plumm, it was also implied that another Targ took a liking to Eleana, so therefore Viserys Plumm has two Targ parents and not Ossifer, but he kept the name because of his mother's machinations. And since Ben is descended from a younger son of Viserys, he may very well be considered a Targ. That's why the dragons took to him.

Why is the show thread more active. ?!
