Episode 17 Ernest frowned at Tuesday, "You went out with him" it was not a question but more like a statement. Tuesday didn't know why she felt guilty. It wasn't like she had done anything wrong. It wasn't even like she was dating Ernest but yet she flt she had betrayed him and she knew that she still had to explain. "Remember i told you that Xavier was a man from my past. Well, he is married to my half sister" Tuesday said and understanding dawned on Ernest. He had no idea why he was acting like a jealous school boy. He was thirty for Christ sake, a grown man. "I am sorry but i didn't mean to sound rude. I am just looking out for you" Ernest said awkwardly. He had no idea why when it came to Tuesday, his thoughts were always scattered. Tuesday had been expecting him to say something else. Maybe, like asking her out on a date, or any other thing than what a big brother would say, "I was just looking out for you". Seriously? If she had no pride left in her, she would have done the asking her self. "Oh, if that's all you called me here to do, i would just be on my way" Tuesday said walking towards the door, expecting him to call her back, which he never did. *********** Candie pressed the doorbell for the fifth time. Where was Tomiwa anyway, God help him if she gets to find out that there was a woman in there. Candie cringed at the thought, already cracking her fingers. She was just about ready to push down the door when it flew open with Tomiwa standing in a towel and his body glistening with water. She felt a wave of desire but quickly pulled her mind away when she realized a woman could be inside. "Where is she?" Candie asked matching into the house without acknowledging the owner of the house. Tomiwa followed behind, sighing in frustration. This mad woman has started again, he thought. "If you love yourself better come out" Candie screamed climbing up the stairs to check each room. When she was done searching and realized that there was nobody there, she turned to look at Tomiwa who had a deep frown on his face. "I guess that you're done now. I really don't seem to understand you" Tomiwa said angrily. He was beginning to regret having an affair with her. She was always quick to conclude, although he was far from being a saint, he respected her and was always careful when bringing girls to his house. "I am sorry baby, i didn't mean to flare up. You know my love for you is out of this world and i am always overwhelmed with it, forgive me baby" Candie pleaded. Tomiwa's mind flashed back to when he had seen a woman who had a striking resemblance with Tuesday, his supposed ex girlfriend's best friend. Yea, Sewa had broken it off with him and he had been so surprised because he had known that she was whipped by him. When she had called him to call it off in a clipped voice, he knew that something was up. She stopped picking his calls. He had been calling not because he wanted to settle things with her but because he had wanted to know if the lady with the velvet colored wild curl had been Tuesday. His love life was a complicated piece of sh!t. "I am not interested in hearing how sorry you are. For christ sake! what in the world is wrong with you. You are married with two beautiful kids, yet you still hang around me like we have a future together. I am tired of it all" Tomiwa said angrily. "So what are you saying?" Candie could feel the rapid thudding of her heart as she asked that question. She was already loosing her husband, she couldn't afford to loose Tomiwa too. Tuesday comes into the picture and her life becomes a mess. "I am saying that i don't think that i am ready to continue this thing we have. Go and make your marriage work" Tomiwa said and he was surprised that he felt no emotion letting her go. He watched the tears fall from her eyes and he wasn't sure if the tears that she was shedding was real. "It's because of her right?" Candie asked in tears, her guts telling her that Tuesday's name had something to do with everything. When Tomiwa gave no reply, her assumptions were confirmed. She left without looking back. ******** Candie decided to place the call to her mother. "Mum i am ready, let's do it" This was the beginning of everything. |

Mark had never been one to stalk a woman. In true fact, Rita was his first. He yearned to have her attention, he wanted her so bad that he ached. In true fact, he would say that he had a connection with her. A connection that he found it hard explaining. He wanted so bad to talk to her, but he had no idea how he was supposed to approach her. The stalking went on for days, he found out where she lived and also where she worked. ***** Rita frowned, why couldn't this guy just give her a break. It was not like she was scared of the fact that she was being stalked. In fact she enjoyed the attention that Mark was giving her. I wonder if he works, cause he can't be dedicating all his time in stalking me, she thought aloud. Today was the day that she was going to end this madness. She needed her space to think correctly, something that she never did when Mark was watching her her. Her whole being was always alert whenever he was close. She walked up to his car and folded her arms with a "WTF LOOK" To say that Mark was shocked was understatement, he hadn't been expecting her to approach him. He was sure that Richard would laugh his pants out when he told him of the incident that was about to happen. "Be a man and talk to me" Rita said forcing a frown. Mark knew that he had no other choice but to come out. "I can explain" he said awkwardly causing Rita to burst out in laughter. Mark thought she gone crazy. "Hello...., i am not one of your numerous girlfriends that you should be explaining to. I want you to stop stalking me because it is beginning to get me uncomfortable" Rita said "I just need to know you, that is all" Mark said calmly and Rita gave him a soft smile. "You could have just been a man about it and told me what you really wanted instead of following me about like a school boy chases his first crush" Rita said with a smirk, her mind going back to when she had still been nursing a crush for Mark in school. "Dinner at 7pm today, pick me up from my place and get a place in mind" Rita said walking away with Mark watching the sway of her hips. Rita was extremely beautiful with a touch of innocence to her features, any man who wouldn't want her was a fool without eyes. ******** When Mark had told Richard about his encounter with Rita, Richard had laughed his ass off. Richard knew that his brother sucked when it came to dating and approaching women, but for a woman to let Mark in on it was Epic. Mark drove into Rita's compound and was about knocking on the door when the door flew open. His mouth dropped open in amazement. There was just a word to describe Rita with, 'absolutely gorgeous' "Wow" Mark said still in amazement staring at the royal blue long dress which fit her features like a second skin and the simple teardrop diamonds hanging on ear. Her hair was packed up in a high bun. She was refreshingly beautiful. "Wow yourself too, you clean up pretty well" Rita said with a smile. 'Shall we?" Mark asked extending his hands "Of course" Rita said taking his hands. ********** The dinner was extremely beautiful. This was a beginning for them both, Rita knew. They went on several dates and with every new thing that Rita learnt about Mark, she fell deeper in love. She knew now that it was time to let the ghosts of the past slide. She couldn't keep blaming herself for the death of her best friend. It was time to let sleeping dogs lie. She had chosen the man that she wanted and she was not going to keep giving herself excuses not to be with him. The first time that Mark had prophesied his love to her, the joy that she had felt had been indescribable. The previous week she had told Mark that she loved him dearly. Their relationship was growing fast like a wind. She had been introduced to all his friends and family and they had loved her. She had noticed that although Mark and Richard were identical, their traits and characters differed. Mark had proposed to Rita six months after their first date. The preparations for the wedding were moving as fast as a speed boat. It was just like a fairy tale, until something happened. Mark had been kidnapped. |
Episode 16 Tuesday stayed locked up in my room, bringing out a treasure that she had tried so hard to forget. The necklace that had been to given to her on her birthday by Tommy. She wiped the tears running down her eyes. Why was she crying anyway? Tommy wasn't worth her tears and it was time that she put on her big girl's panties and face the fact that Tommy had never been her's. Tuesday was still sulking when Sewa stormed into her room with anger clearly written on her face. "What was the meaning of that? Why would you leave in such a way without any explanations whatsoever" Sewa said pacing angrily around the room. Tuesday sighed, "Stop being so angry and just sit down" "What you have to say better be good" Sewa said grumbling. "There is something that i need to let you know. Your Tomtom was the same Tomiwa from my past. The same guy who had blatantly rejected me,and had done it in the worse kind of way. I am so sorry for running out on you. The memory of that day just came running into my mind" Tuesday said trying hard to pretend like it all didn't matter anymore. Sewa sighed sadly, "I am so sorry, i had no idea. I can leave him you know?" Tueday shook her head, "no, you won't do such a thing. It all happened a long time ago, i don't care about him anymore. Although i am hurt, i really don't care about him" she lied through her teeth. "Are you sure Velvet?" Sewa asked with raised brows. "Yes i am" Tuesday lied, still holding on to the necklace on her hand. *********** Xavier frowned, why was it so hard to find Tuesday anyway? He had hired a private investigator who had only found out that Tuesday schooled in unilag and was studying engineering but that was all there was to it. He was just about entering his car when he saw her. The color of her red hair was unmistakable. He rushed after her. "Tuesday, please i need to speak with you" he said scaring her because she hadn't seen him approaching. "Excuse you, is that how you creep up on people when they are unawares?" She asked with a deep frown. "I am sorry, didn't mean to frighten you. i just want to speak to you" Xavier said pleading with his eyes. "We are talking now" she said with a frown already marring her head. Xavier shook his head and cleared his throat, he had no idea why he was so nervous. "I was thinking that we could do launch". Tuesday sincerely didn't want to go but the sun was scorching hot and she knew that her disagreeing to follow him would prolong her stay under the really hot sun. "Fine, let's go" she said reluctantly. The ride down to the restaurant was tension filled and torturous for Tuesday. So many things were running through her mind. For one, what did Xavier want from her. He kept on talking about how she had really changed over the years and all that could go through Tuesday's mind was if the guy thought she didn't know he was married. She knew, that he knew that she was aware that he was married. "How about your kids?" Tuesday dropped the bomb shell. "Nancy and Junior are just adorable. You would love to meet them" Xavier said with a smile. There was a smile that light up his whole features when he spoke about them. A smile that she found herself envying. "Yea, how time flies" Tuesday said remembering the times she used to cover for Candie. When they got to the restaurant, Tuesday let Xavier order for her. He talked about his kids, his music career, and how he was used to traveling round the world for tour. Tuesday found the tension leaving her as they continued to talk about what they had both been up to until Xavier said, "I curse myself everyday for marrying your sister" Tuesday got really angry and she wasn't she shy to let her anger out. "You have no right to tell me that, if you are having issues with your wife, sort it out and don't bring me into it" Tuesday spat out in annoyance and walked away. |

This is a work of pure fiction. ******* When people ask me, 'Ola what is your favorite color?' I tell them black, it's not because I am a sadist, Or because my heart is dark, or because I am locked up in a cell, but it is all because that color gives me an innermost peace. How strange!, one would think. For a young beautiful girl to hate anything bright, but I have been through enough not to give a flying damn. I have been through enough that I enjoy letting myself get lost in the darkness, falling deep and deep into an unending void. I would tell you a story about my life, maybe then you wouldn't blame me for having such a psychotic mind. The first time that I ever touched a man's male organ was when I was six. Early right? Yea I know, I was clueless. Clueless to why a man would have such a thing down there. I had wondered if he was going through a severe sickness for him to have such a thing on his body, a thing that had a life of it's own, the sight to me had been horrific. Have I told you who the male organ I saw belonged to? You would be surprised. It was my father's. As an only child I had been daddy's little girl, I had been so close to him that at that age I could have given my life for him. Most times I wonder why I still have a clear memory of how it all started. A memory that I would give all I have to let go of, but no matter how hard I tried, it all came back. The abuse all started with little touches, and of him telling me to play with him down there. Most times I had wondered why he kept growing bigger and bigger in my little palms, or why he groaned whenever I touched him there, or what the white sticky substance he released was. I was simply clueless. I remembered how he always told me to put my mouth on the long, big and hideous thing standing in between his legs. I remembered how daddy always told me, "Ola this is our little secret, never tell your mother", and I remembered always nodding in response. At age nine, I remembered mummy fighting daddy and telling daddy all kinds of awful words. I think she found out about what he was doing to me, which I have no clue on where she had gotten the information from. My mother had been clearly devastated and agitated, her current heavy state of pregnancy not helping her mood one bit. She had been all over the place screaming and crying her heart out but my father had ignored her like he had been innocent of all the allegations that had been coming his way. I sat in a hidden corner. Watching. Waiting. I wanted to know what my mother was going to do to save me from this trapped hole called my life. I was tired of touching and sucking my father for four years now. I was tired of him sticking his huge fingers into my woman parts. "Kola you have killed me. ah!. You have finished my life. Why Kola! Why my baby girl! Why your own blood! Why this incest! Why a child who hasn't even hit puberty. Kola you have killed me" My mother had cried out. I felt the tears running down my eyes. My father had given my mother no reply. He had already began to make his way up the stairs. I wished now that my mother had let him be but the painful truth was that she had ran after him and grabbed him by the arm. My father pushed her and she had tumbled down the stairs. I had let out a loud gasp running towards my mother to help her, but I was too late. My father never looked back. He never felt sorry. I wasn't surprised when the death of my mother had been framed a case of minor accident with her slumping and falling down the stairs. My father had paid the police off. But I had still known the truth. He killed her because he hadn't want to tarnish his famous image. My father didn't touch me for a month, in fact, he hired an house girl who was supposed to care for my every need. That had been another nightmare unfolding right before my eyes. Nana (The house girl) was even more brutal in sexually harassing me. I had wondered why a lady would do such a thing to her fellow sex. I had been terrified of Nana. Nana would use all kinds of objects and drive into my vagina. I had cried. I screamed but my screams had been muffled by Nana's hands. She was the devil himself. Her eyes always held no emotions when she did this to me. It was like she had been possessed by a thousand demons. There was no one to go to, no one to speak with. My life had already been battered and tattered. There was no life left in me. Most times, I had found myself disappearing into space. I didn't think. I didn't speak. My mind had been blank. There were no emotions left in me anymore. No thoughts, just blankness. The years had ran by. The abuse had continued. Nana had grown worse with every passing day. There was a time she had forced my face down her vagina. The experience had been horrific. I decided that day to run. I was just fifteen. I hadn't been so lucky to get far because with my father's connections, he found me. I had been dragged back home, and had been severely punished. That day my father had done his worse, he had tied me up naked with my legs spread wide apart and he had forced his manhood into me. I screamed. The pain had been excruciating and unbearable. I had bit my lips until I had tasted blood. At age 17, I had made up my mind and I had drawn up a plan to kill Nana and my father. I found out that Nana had been homosexual and that my dad had been part of an occult group. I found my father one evening pounding into Nana and grunting from pleasure. At that moment, I had decided that I wanted them alive while I inflicted pain on their every being. I had drugged them both with an overdose of antidepressants, and I tied them up in strong knots. It hadn't been difficult. I had been saving all my strength for this very day. I brought out every set of knife that we owned and had arranged it on a table in front of them. I started with Nana, I had thorn her clothes with scissors and I had started tearing her skin in little portions. I had smelt blood, and it reminded me of every time Nana had abused me. I had taken a different knife and had continuously stabbed her. I had moved on to my father, I took a butcher knife after tearing his clothes and sliced the object that had been the major cause of my pain. I had felt no emotion at all. I hadn't felt guilty or sorry. I had picked up a different knife and I had stabbed him for every year, month, day, minutes and seconds that he had raped me. I was drenched in blood and I had loved it. The two people who had destroyed my life were gone. I had picked up my father's phone and I had dialed the police. There was no feeling in my heart, there was total blankness , all I could see was black. This is my story, and I don't feel sorry or guilty. Even if I am locked up in jail, all I feel now is nothing but innermost peace. THE END |

Bibijay's writing style is what one would call beautiful. The way she describes things would make you feel like you are right in the story watching everything unfolds. If there is one thing I like about Bibijay, it would be her capability to carry readers along. |
