Since you have already sent hard copies before and they just asked for update of this, I don’t thinks there is need to courier it again. While I was doing my study visa, I forgot to add manual visa application form and they mailed me to send it across. Although they specifically told me I can just email it across sha. I think it should apply to yours too.

They replied last month for me to submit a notarized invitation letter. I have done that since last month. So no update yet and I have written a letter to them, no response from them.

I think this visa usually takes some time than the others but rest assured you will get feedback soon. Please how long after you booked an appointment did they ask you to upload a notarized invitation letter and please what letter did you upload initially that was rejected?

Since you just submitted your application on Dec 1, wait for them to email you. They usually respond after 4 weeks of submission to request for additional documents or family`s passport. If you didnt hear from them after 4 weeks, you can email them.

Yes. I was asked to provide the invitation letter. I found that the consulate has been rejecting invitation letters drafted by the caller themselves, and this usually results in unnecessary delays. To fast-track the process, the caller needs to go to a cartório in Brazil, where they will draft the letter for him and stamp it with recognition of authenticity. The version issued by the cartório is equivalent to a public deed—costly, though.

Hi, please i got an invitation letter with my family’s name attached to it from my institution in Brazil and it was notarized in Brazil but still haven’t heard from the embassy since I submitted my application on the 1st of December. Not even to mail or drop off or correct anything. What could be the issue please? Thank you in advance, anticipating your reply

Family Reunion Visa (VITEM XI)
DON'T TRAVEL TO BRAZIL BEFORE YOU APPLY FOR YOUR DEPENDANTS.

AS A BENEFICIARY OF A TEMPORAY VISA, (VITEM 1, IV and V) You can travel with your family, IF YOU WANT.
But you have to apply for them after you've gotten your own visa. DON'T Travel to Brazil before you start your dependants' application. Apply immediately you receive your Visa. As the main applicant, all you need to add to your dependants' application are the copy of the VISA page and your DATA Page.

And of course, sufficient proof of funds alongside the other documents of your dependants.

The moment you entered Brazil the main applicant will be required to add more documents, which you might not be able to provide on time...

Pls in relation to what you posted about not waiting to get to Brazil to apply for dependents first, can you throw more light on it. Would love to get enough feedback on this. Thank you. Also can I have your contact information incase I need to reach out for assistance. Would really appreciate that.

I dnt think the pg school will send you any acknowledgement. You jus av 2 check deir register in d pg school premises.
Sent my own thru ma alma mata, pg school received it after close to a month.

Kindly note that, the minimum cutoff mark is 40% excluding Arts who has different cutoff marks as related to chosen course/unit of study. My advise,it is not late,but u are on borrowed time,try to submit and make sure u communicate with pg school somehow,it is very important.I almost lost my admissions last year cos of transcript.Be wise as a serpent,follow it up vigorously esp if u scored abv 40
