However, RMC Sport’s Mohamed Bouhafsi is adamant that a move to Merseyside isn’t on the cards.
When asked on Twitter by a Liverpool supporter if Lemar is moving to Liverpool, he replied: “Several sources explain at the time that Liverpool won't move.
“After that may be moving in the next few days. From elsewhere for the time being no movement on Lemar.”

“They tried Keita to see if he could come earlier but that’s a no-go. “So they are not actively searching for a replacement for Coutinho."
