Good morning my people.
My W211 is having some issues, car is in limp mode, wouldn't go past the first gear and the gear shift wouldn't return to park while the engine is running. I have to shift to neutral, turn off the engine before the gear shift would get back to park.
Has anyone encountered this? If yes how was it solved?
A friend said to change the gear shift.

Similar thing I'm facing and mine won't come back on at all, since I replaced alternator, I later realized there should be a wire that connects to the voltage regulator behind the alternator that the one I got didn't have, so I'm losing some convenience functions like the auxiliary port, power seats, and interior lights whenever I start the car but on ignition 2 everything works fine

Wow! Meaning you need to change alternator then.

I observed something on my w211, sometimes after start up the lighter ports (auxiliary power port) loose power for about a minute or so before coming back on.
Does anybody know why this happens and possible solution?

That is network. MTN is gives to phone makers selectively. Take that same phone out of this country and you see VoLTE

Some Infinix phones show voLTE, the same person that had that Infinix phone got a Redmi 13 and the same voLTE is present.

I have a 5G device and even the 4G is more stable than it. Even in the 4G my phone switches both aggregation (+) and Non Aggregation and I rarely feel the difference.

If you are so worried buy a new device. Redmi 10c have held its own down by the way. It may be a good sign to get a new device

How about a note 13 that doesn't display voLTE?

My current model is the Redmi note 13 4g, but even on my previous device which is the note 10 pro, I never got the voLTE sign on it. Got me wondering if it's my SIM(S)

I won't choose any of the above if I had a choice. They are transformer based which means high idle current use and also the need to get an external charge controller for solar. If i had a gun to my head though, I'd take the 3.5kva48v sha rather than the 5kva24v system cos of efficiency though means getting a 48v system which is almost double a 24v battery system price

On two occasions my Redmi note 10 pro turned on on its own, Initially I thought someone turned it on until it did the same thing about 20 mins ago.
Has anyone experienced such and what could be the cause?

Brand new panels from reputable companies are surely better.

With the deluge of low quality Chinese panels in the market, you can't guarantee their efficiency .

New Panels from Renogy, Canadian Solar ,Trina Solar, Jinko Solar, LONGi Solar , JA Solar etc are some of the best in quality and true to their ascribed specifications.

The used panels are not at 100% of their rated factory efficiency however their low cost is the "pull factor" and are surprisingly still better than some low quality Chinese brand new panels.

I use 6 PCs of 350W
Canadian mono
crystalline solar panels bought as second hand. Their efficiency has certainly dropped considering their age. They have never delivered above 1000W even at the sunniest of seasons.(I have been using them for 6 years now. Their daily average is 960W between 11am and 2pm).

My epever is actually rated 60A at 150V with a generated battery amperage of 45A at 10am, and 50 - 59A at the peak period I specified above.
I sometimes fear I may fry the charge controller one of these days because it gets so hot that I begin to doubt if the heat sink actually works. But hey, this is 6 years and counting!

Most 100A charge controller will take higher wattages than what you quoted above at 12v battery configuration. For a 12v battery configuration, a 100A Felicity mppt charge controller can handle PV wattage of 1375W, and 2750W for a 24v battery assembly.

Yes, that's what we knew previously, that inverters require either a battery or a reference voltage to work. Am not sure why.

But I own a Chinese inverter that will gladly bypass the battery once the Sun is reasonably bright at around 8 -10am. So I now reserve my old dead batteries are for refrigerator in day time, at night - phones and lighting.

By "bypass" do you mean it wouldn't charge the batteries?
What can you power with it when it bypasses the batteries?

Let's see

12v 150w solar panel is around 50k for my area anambra state but for Lagos it is way cheaper

You will need just three - so that even when small sunshine your battery is full under 3 hours

3 12v 150w panel 50k*3 = 150k

60A pwm controller this is very important you will learn why in future and based on price of 30a it is foolishness that will make you not buy 60A controller

1 60A pwm controller = 28k

1 pure wave inverter 500watts or even lower like 300watts = 30k lower if you see 300watts

Na here it gets a little dicey

Go for 75a or 100a battery
If you go for 100a depending on location u might need extra 20k to 30k
But for 75a battery you won't need extra money

Remember money for wire and to pay installer , circuit breakers are not included


You 300k will get you a well and able doing solar setup that will work well during the day but not that long for night highest 2 to 3 hours in the night

If you want put to 8hours or more in the future just buy one extra panel and 200a battery and add to the setup and you are good to go

The C230 and C280 carry the same M272 engine, while the C240 and C320 are powered by the M112 engine mated to a 5 speed tranny the latter are matted to a 7 speed transmission.
While the M272 is not as rugged as the M112 (it's actually the immediate replacement for it) it is more fuel efficient and faster too.
The last I checked the M272 engine would buy 2 M112 engines plus one tranny.

Check the batteries in the keyfob.
There should be a way to change language on the command. Try you tube.
