Under the bridge
the youth lay
far from[color=#990000][/color] mortal grasp
where her nauseating perfume gathered the public
to gaze at the decapitated destiny
in tomorrow's paper
she'd get national popularity

Gone to a place
where the ritualistic knife will no more cut deep
as society's slandering tongue
that crucifies mothering daughters
congealed blood now will flow
for grief dries the root of joy

the wailing ambulance came running
the victim's corpse it had come to claim
not knowing it should have
healed her soul.

Reaching out to grasp mistful shadows of desire that
in sincere desperation gave breath to hope
that in love's cradle i will sleep

i dangle from uncertain cliffs
holding unto dreams that
disappears like wisps of smoke,
i took that step in your direction
where many stumbled as
the rumbling of tumbling trees

i set sail for my island
to anchor on lonely sands
in quest  for company as thorny rocks scraped my flesh bare

the sun sets yet
hope's faint physique breathes again
it may be  your country or another but
i know out there lies some fertile soil for me.
