To get sense is not that difficult if someone should think deeply before responding to any statement. What exactly could this woman and the innocent children who are in captivity of daredevil well armed terrorists that had beheaded and executed her staff member before her own very eyes should do? Would she disobey them? or you cannot just figured out what her emotion and sufferings entail in the video? She is doing exactly what they commanded her to do, or else, we all know the rest.

Foreign AffairsRe: Iran's IRGC Attacks US Fifth Fleet Headquarters, Airbase, Local Media Reports by LEXYLOV: 3:03pm On Jun 03
Iran IRCG is living. The USCENTCOM has denied the report and Kuwait media also denied the report. What happened was that, US forces attacked Queshem Island in Hormuz over night and destroyed large irania missiles and drones capabilities plus blowing up an irania oil tanker that tried to bypass US blockade. In response. Iran fires 4 ballistic missiles and drones to Kuwait and Bahrain all of them are intercepted except the drone that managed to crash at Kuwaiti Airport killing a passenger and wounded 65 ppl on the check-in area of the terminal.
That was a suicide drones, even if they were intercepted they will still managed to caused explosion because of multiple warheads they carry. It is a terrorist ideology.

saturnjay:
Do you think if US can do that they wouldn't have done it. Don't underestimate your adversary, otherwise, you would be caught unaware. War is a game. War is a deceit. It is not by strength or firepower. A Muslim army of 333 soldiers defeated the Meccan pagans of 1,000 soldiers in the battle of Badr. Why? Strategy & Discipline. The Muslim army were disciplined and they were strategic. US is over-rated. US & Israel fought a 2 months war with Iran and they were complaining of weapons and munitions depletion. Iran, on the other side had been preparing for this war for the past 20 years. Read the analysis online. US is stuck and they are looking for an exit strategy. Mind you, US intelligence is fully aware that Iran has nuclear weapons, they know and Israel also know. There won't be a deal, Iran is just gaming the US and the West. Use your Google, Iran is a nuclear-armed state. That's why US is cautious and careful. It is a fact
Foreign AffairsIran Says It Targeted American Base After Fresh US Strikes. by LEXYLOV(op): 1:27pm On May 28
Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has said it has targeted an American air base in the region, after fresh US strikes on southern Iran.

The IRGC did not say where the base was, but Kuwait, which hosts a US base, said it had intercepted "hostile missile and drone threats".

The US military said Iran had launched a ballistic missile towards Kuwait that was successfully intercepted by Kuwaiti forces, without specifying whether it was aimed at its military base.

The Iranian missile launch came after the US shot down Iranian drones over the Strait of Hormuz and struck a military site in Bandar Abbas, a strategic port city in southern Iran.

The renewed hostilities threaten a fragile ceasefire between Washington and Tehran.

It is the second time in three days that the US has attacked targets in Iran - saying that the strikes were conducted in self defence.

The IRGC said the attack on the US air base took place in the early hours of Thursday morning and targeted the site as it was "the source" of earlier US strikes on Iran, according to state broadcaster IRIB.

US Central Command (Centcom) said Iran's attack on Kuwait was an "egregious ceasefire violation" that occurred "hours after Iranian forces launched five one-way attack drones that posed a clear threat in and near the Strait of Hormuz".

It said all the drones were intercepted and that a sixth drone launched from an Iranian ground control site in Bandar Abbas was also prevented.

Centcom described its actions as "measured, purely defensive, and intended to maintain the ceasefire".

Iranian foreign ministry spokesman Esmail Baqai meanwhile condemned the US strikes and said they constituted a violation of the ceasefire.

He added that the Islamic republic would "take all necessary measures to defend its national sovereignty", according to quotes cited by IRIB.

Kuwait's foreign affairs ministry strongly condemned what it termed "criminal Iranian attacks that targeted" its territory.
Earlier this week, the US confirmed a previous round of "self-defence" strikes on southern Iran on Monday in which they targeted Iranian missile sites and boats attempting to lay mines in the Strait, where thousands of commercial tanker ships are stranded as a result of the conflict.

Centcom said those strikes were designed "to protect our troops from threats posed by Iranian forces".

The US also imposed sanctions on the "Persian Gulf Strait Authority" – the Iranian body tasked with collecting payments from ships travelling through the Strait of Hormuz.

Any ships that pay the authority could also be "exposed to the risk of sanctions", the US Treasury Department said in a statement.

One-fifth of the world's liquefied natural gas and oil normally pass through the shipping channel, and its closure has impacted global fuel trade.

Iran's foreign ministry spokesman Baqai said on Monday that Tehran was collecting fees for "navigational services" and it would continue to manage traffic through the waterway.

US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent described it as the "Iranian military's latest attempt to extort global maritime trade" and "proof" Iran is "desperate for cash".

The IRGC also said on Tuesday that it had downed a US drone and fired at a fighter jet and another drone that entered Iranian airspace, but did not specify when.

Foreign AffairsUS Strikes Iran Targets For Second Time In Three Days. by LEXYLOV(op): 7:02am On May 28
The US military has carried out new strikes on Iran, targeting a military site in Bandar Abbas, a strategic port city.

US Central Command (Centcom) said its forces also shot down four Iranian one-way attack drones "that posed a threat around the Strait of Hormuz".

The site in Bandar Abbas was struck as it was about to launch a fifth drone, Centcom said. Iranian media reported that explosions were heard to the east of the city.

The strikes come amid a fragile ceasefire between the US and Iran, and protracted negotiations to end the three-month war that has choked traffic in the Strait of Hormuz and shot up global energy prices.

It is the second time in three days that the US has attacked targets in Iran - saying that the strikes were conducted in self defence. The renewed hostilities threaten the ceasefire.

Centcom described its actions as "measured, purely defensive, and intended to maintain the ceasefire".

Earlier this week, it confirmed a previous round of "self-defence" strikes on southern Iran on Monday in which they targeted Iranian missile sites and boats attempting to lay mines in the Strait, where thousands of commercial tanker ships are stranded as a result of the conflict.

Centcom said those strikes were designed "to protect our troops from threats posed by Iranian forces". Iran condemned the strikes as "a grave violation of the ceasefire" and vowed that the Iranian government "will not leave any act of hostility unanswered."

On Thursday, Kuwait's army said its air defences were intercepting "hostile missile and drone threats" without providing further details.

Iran's foreign ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baqaei said on Monday that Tehran was collecting fees for "navigational services" and it would continue to manage traffic through the waterway.

US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent described it as the "Iranian military's latest attempt to extort global maritime trade" and "proof" Iran is "desperate for cash".
Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) also said on Tuesday that it had downed a US drone and fired at a fighter jet and another drone that entered Iranian airspace, but did not specify when.

During a cabinet meeting on Wednesday, US President Donald Trump said that Iran is "negotiating on fumes", insisting that his war strategy will not be impacted by November's US midterm elections.

"Maybe we have to go back and finish it, maybe we don't," he said.

During that meeting, the president also urged Gulf nations to sign on to the Abraham Accords to normalise relations with Israel.

Israel launched the war against Iran alongside the US on 28 February and is also embroiled in a war with Iranian-backed Hezbollah in Lebanon.

Trump has threatened to resume a large-scale bombing campaign if Iran does not agree to his terms.

While Trump struck an optimistic note over the weekend, saying that a peace deal with Iran had been "largely negotiated", by Wednesday's cabinet meeting, he said that the US is "not satisfied".
He said Tehran was "very much intent" on reaching an agreement to end the conflict, but added "so far they haven't gotten there", repeating Washington's willingness to resume strikes if one is not reached.

His remarks came after Iranian state TV reported what it said were details of a draft agreement, which included reopening the Strait of Hormuz and the withdrawal of US forces from the region.

The White House branded the text a "complete fabrication".

Both sides signalled progress had been made towards a deal late last week, prompting speculation an announcement was close.

However, Tehran soon cautioned a deal was "not imminent" while Trump said he had instructed his negotiators "not to rush into" one.

Speaking to reporters at a cabinet meeting on Wednesday, the US president said: "They just want to make a deal - I don't think they have a choice."

Trump also said: "Iran is very much intent, they want very much to make a deal.

"So far, they haven't gotten there and we're not satisfied with it, but we will be. Either that or we'll have to just finish the job."

I dated women of more younger age than myself in the last 2 decades. When I was 45yrs I had a gf of 21 years and she's always all over me, even at 48yrs I still has gf of 23yrs presently. My wife and kids lives in Germany and am here to take care of our business. Girls of nowadays don't care about age bracket s especially in Africa. All that mater to them is your personality, money and attractions. But in EU, dating a younger girls of her bracket of age is not only risky but unwise. You can only manipulate them with a chance if you are lucky, But majority of EU girls from 15 to 24 years of age has no maturity sense, relationship values, focus etc. all that matters to them is partying, clubbing, sex, and kinds of life things with their age group.

Foreign AffairsTrump Says He Called Off New Iran Attack At Request Of Gulf States. by LEXYLOV(op): 8:55pm On May 18
US President Donald Trump has said he is holding off a military attack on Iran planned for Tuesday at the request of Gulf states as "serious negotiations are now taking place".

In a post on Truth Social, he said he had been asked to do so by the leaders of Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.

Trump said he had been informed that a deal would be made that is "very acceptable" to the US, adding that there would be "NO NUCLEAR WEAPONS FOR IRAN!"

But he warned that the US military would be prepared to "go forward with a full, large scale assault of Iran, on a moment's notice" if there was no acceptable deal reached.

Iran has not publicly commented on Trump's latest statement.

Over the weekend, Trump had warned Tehran that the "clock is ticking" as talks to bring the war to an end stalled.

Israeli and US forces began massive air strikes on Iran on 28 February, while Tehran retaliated by firing drones and missiles at Israel and US targets in countries across the Gulf.

A ceasefire agreed in April meant to facilitate talks has largely been observed despite occasional exchanges of fire.
Iran has also continued to control the Strait of Hormuz, effectively closing the vital waterway through which around 20% of the world's oil and liquefied natural gas travels.

The move, which Iran has said is in retaliation for US and Israeli attacks, has sent oil prices soaring globally.

The US, for its part, has been enforcing a blockade of Iranian ports to exert pressure on Tehran to agree to its terms.

The truth is that, women fell in love even more deeper, because they are very emotional in nature. But that love only come with attractions, either How you look, or always dressed, or your profession, or your possessions, power or most importantly fame. That will catch their attentions. They could even easily walk up their ways to where you can notice them or arranged a design or drama to interact with you, they are pretender and manipulators in nature. Don't also forget that, they are strict and observance more than we men. The bottom line is that, they do love based on attractions and expectations that will benefit them.

The Russian Su-34 strike fighter is currently the longest ranged tactical combat aircraft operational anywhere in the world, with its endurance being comparable to those of many types of strategic bombers, providing operational flexibility for a wide range of mission requirements from extended loitering to deep penetration missions. In contrast to fighters in the Western world, Russian fighters are rarely sighted carrying external fuel tanks, with their much longer ranges using internal fuel allowing them to operate effectively over long distances without needing to impose additional drag, lower their thrust/weight ratios, and limit the number of available weapons hardpoints by using such tanks. Nevertheless, the rare sighting of a Su-34 with three PTB-3000 3,000 litre external fuel tanks has highlighted that the aircraft has a unique ability to be configured for operations at truly intercontinental ranges
The Su-34 was developed as a derivative of the Soviet Su-27 air superiority fighter, which was by far the longest ranged fighter type fielded by the Soviet Air Force or by any Western air force in the 20th century. The new fighter was approximately 50 percent heavier than the Su-27, which was already by far the largest fighter fielded by Russia or by any NATO air force, with its increased size combined with the integration of more fuel efficient AL-31FM2 engines, and a much higher use of composite materials to achieve a more efficient design, facilitating a much longer range. Where the Su-27 had a maximum ferry range of 4,000 kilometres on internal fuel, that of the Su-34 was closer estimated at approximately 4,800-5,000 kilometres. With an intercontinental range defined as a range of over 5,500 kilometres, this brought the Su-34 close to being able to reach this major milestone.

Russian Aerospace Forces Su-34 Strike Fighter
Russian Aerospace Forces Su-34 Strike Fighter
When carrying three 3,000 litre drop tanks, the Su-34’s ferry range can be increased to an estimated 8,000 kilometres when accounting for the penalties of the tanks’ additional weight and drag, which allows the aircraft to fly from Moscow to Washington DC. Nevertheless, this ferry range assumes an optimal flight profile with no manoeuvring and no weapons carriage, which would increase fuel consumption significantly. Thus while the Su-34 can fly over intercontinental distances without aerial refuelling support in ways Western fighter aircraft cannot, it cannot do so for combat operations. The aircraft may nevertheless retain some operational uses when operating over such ranges, with its ability to integrate a wide range of pods for electronic, radar and photo reconnaissance allowing it to still play important roles without a weapons load.

The Su-34 is expected to be surpassed in its position as the world’s longest ranged fighter with the service entry of a Chinese sixth generation fighter developed by the Chengdu Aircraft Corporation, which also appears to surpass the Su-34 as the world’s largest, and is optimised for very long range operations with advanced stealth capabilities. The Su-34 itself is nevertheless expected to see its long range engagement capabilities continue to improve as new missile types continue to be integrated, with a miniaturised variant of the Kh-101/2 5,500 kilometre range cruise missile reported to have been brought into service in 2024 without compromising on the original variant’s range. As the rate of the Su-34 fleet’s expansion has increased significantly, with production having more than doubled since early 2022 to facilitate deliveries of approximately 30 per year, it is expected that the scope of upgrades and new armaments developed will also continue to increase, some of which will improve its ability to engage targets thousands of kilometres from its operating bases.

A significant possibility which has been raised in the past is that the Su-34 will integrate the AL-51F engine developed for the Su-57 fifth generation fighter, which aside from improving flight performance and reducing maintenance needs, would also provide a far higher level of fuel efficiency, potentially allowing the aircraft to conduct truly intercontinental range strategic missions. The integration of the new engine, combined with new missile types and expanded aerial refuelling support, could allow the Su-34 to take on entirely new roles in the Russian Aerospace Forces, potentially extending to deployments under the Long Range Aviation Command, which is responsible for the strategic aviation fleet. Improvements to the aircraft’s reach have significant implications not only for Russia, but also for Algeria which is expected to begin receiving the aircraft in 2026, as well as for other potential export clients.

Foreign AffairsSaif Al-islam Gaddafi Shot Dead In Libya by LEXYLOV(op): 9:05pm On Feb 03

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=siHsMbPk1U8?si=WfZ9uZvIdpLPBGvp

Saif al-Islam Gaddafi, son of Libya's former leader Col Muammar Gaddafi, has reportedly been shot dead.

The death of the 53-year-old, who was once widely seen as his father's heir apparent, was confirmed by the head of his political team on Tuesday, according to the Libyan News Agency.

His lawyer told the AFP news agency a "four-man commando" unit carried out an assassination at his home in the city of Zintan, though it was not clear who may have been behind the attack.

In a competing version of events, his sister told Libyan TV that he had died near the country's border with Algeria.

Saif al-Islam Gaddafi was long seen as the most influential and feared figure in the country after his father, who ruled Libya from 1969 until being ousted and killed during an uprising in 2011.

Born in 1972, he played a key role in Libya's rapprochement with the West from 2000 until the collapse of the Gaddafi regime.

After his father's removal, Saif al-Islam Gaddafi - who was accused of playing a key role in the brutal repression of anti-government protests - was jailed by a rival militia in the city of Zintan for almost six years.

The International Criminal Court wanted to put him on trial for crimes against humanity for his alleged role in the suppression of opposition protests in 2011.

In 2015, he was given a death sentence in absentia for his role in the crackdown by a court in Tripoli, in the west of the country, where control is in the hands of the UN-backed government.

But he was released by militia in Tobruk, in the east, under an amnesty law two years later.

Since the overthrow of Gaddafi, Libya has been split into areas controlled by various militias and is currently divided between two rival governments.

During his father's time as leader, he shaped policy and led high-profile negotiations despite having no official role in government, including those which led his father to abandon his nuclear weapons programme.

Such agreements saw international sanctions on the north African country lifted, and some considered Gaddafi a reformist and acceptable face of a changing Libya.

Gaddafi had always denied that he wanted to inherit power from his father, saying the reins of power were "not a farm to inherit".

However, in 2021 he announced he would run for the presidency in elections which were then postponed indefinitely.

Nairaland GeneralI Watched ‘melania’ On Opening Day In A Near-empty Movie Theater. by LEXYLOV(op): 5:57pm On Jan 31
There are five of us here at the Vue theater in Westfield Stratford City, East London. As if by unspoken agreement, we claim opposite corners of the auditorium in solitude, determined to avoid eye contact. No one dares to sit center. The reason? We’re all here to watch Melania, Amazon’s controversial $40 million documentary about the first lady at noon on a Friday.

What has been marketed as an insider look at the most mysterious and opaque woman in global politics is, for all intents and purposes, a part-propaganda film about the Trump administration, and an attempt to position Melania as a fashion guru with a unique knowledge of hemlines and color schemes.

“I love black-and-white,” she says in robotic voiceover at one point. “I will move forward with purpose, of course, with style.”

Truly, Melania’s opening scenes are not dissimilar from watching Miranda Priestly’s entrance in Devil’s Wear’s Prada. Soundtracked to The Rolling Stones’ “Gimme Shelter,” we see Melania’s red-bottomed stiletto Louboutins first. She struts from various chauffeured vehicles, helicopters and planes in a five-minute montage, gliding up and down in elevators in large black sunglasses, smizing into the distance.

The plot, of sorts, follows the 20 days leading up to her husband Donald Trump’s inauguration as U.S. president for the second time.

We watch as our protagonist attends high-stakes clothes fittings, meetings with interior designers and event planners, where she appears mostly concerned about the flatness of her hat (you know, that Michael Jackson-esque inauguration number).

This is Melania’s With Love, Meghan or Gwyneth Paltrow moment: because the rich apparently see value in plucking wildly misunderstood women from the mainstream spotlight and positioning them as the latest brand-maker.

As I mull over Melania releasing a clothing line off the back of this, I begin to realize that this fashion segment is only intended to dull our minds before we are thwacked in the real direction of this film: The new power-player Camelot.

B-roll of Trump’s inauguration events repeatedly shows the company he keeps: Amazon proprietor Jeff Bezos appears alongside other tech moguls including Elon Musk, Mark Zuckerberg and Tim Cook. Trump declares it’s time to “straighten out the nation.” Meanwhile, Melania is regularly hand-in-hand with her husband and gushes over his political achievements. In one of her more descriptive moments, she tells the camera of her spouse: “People have tried to murder him, slander him and incarcerate him — I am so very proud of him.”

There’s no hiding that Melania itself is a political bargaining chip. Amazon paid around $40 million for the rights — $28 million of that reportedly going directly to the first lady — and spent another $35 million promoting the film. And it had full backing from the Trump administration, of course: the president threw a private screening at the White House, and hosted the official premiere at the recently renamed Trump Kennedy Center.

According to reports, two-thirds of the crew did not want to have their names associated with the project. And that was before Minnesota. Then there’s further controversy surrounding the film’s director, Brett Ratner, who has not worked since 2014’s Hercules after being accused of sexual misconduct by multiple women in 2017 (Ratner has denied all allegations and has not been charged).

So, what did I learn from watching 104 minutes of Melania? It’s hard to say - mainly because she says so little. I can’t speak for my new friends at the theater, but erm, maybe that Melania’s favorite recording artist is Michael Jackson? Or that “Billie Jean” is her favorite song? No, really - she knows all the words!

She was in usa with visitors visa that expired within 6 month and keep hustling in the street thereafter. Marci rubio,, hegeseth, fbi director , and many of his current officials are also immigrants through their parents. If nit for the same system that he's trying to destroy now,non of them will be where they are today.

But honestly Trump is an irresponsible President. He runs his mouth more than he uses his brain.

Having served until now as the chief of staff of the country’s army, Nta Na Man is considered to have been close in recent years with President Umaro Sissoco Embalo, who was deposed on Wednesday.

He said evidence had been “sufficient to justify the operation”, adding that “necessary measures are urgent and important and require everyone’s participation”.

The African Union (AU) Commission chairperson on Thursday condemned the military coup and called for the immediate and unconditional release of Embalo and all detained officials, the AU said in a statement.

Military officers, referring to themselves as “the High Military Command for the Restoration of Order”, said in a televised statement on Wednesday that they had ousted Embalo, in the latest episode of turmoil in the coup-prone country.

It came one day before provisional results had been expected to be announced in the race between Embalo and Fernando Dias, a 47-year-old political newcomer who had emerged as Embalo’s top challenger to run the West African state, which is a hub for cocaine trafficking.

On Thursday, the capital, Bissau, was mostly quiet, with soldiers on the streets and many residents staying indoors even after the overnight curfew lifted.

Businesses and banks were closed

On Wednesday, a day after two leading candidates in a tightly contested presidential election each declared victory, a group of military officers claimed “total control” of the country.

The takeover announcement on Wednesday came shortly after sustained gunfire was heard near the election commission’s headquarters, the presidential palace and the Ministry of the Interior in the capital.

“I have been deposed,” Embalo later told French broadcaster France24 in a phone call on Wednesday, adding that he was “currently at the general staff headquarters”. Embalo’s whereabouts remained unknown Thursday.

Reporting from neighbouring Senegal, Al Jazeera’s Nicolas Haque said the announcement of Nta Na Man as the new leader had thrown the political process

Foreign AffairsGeneral Sworn In As Guinea-bissau Leader In Swift Coup After Disputed Vote | Reu by LEXYLOV(op): 5:05pm On Nov 27, 2025
An army general has been sworn in as Guinea-Bissau's new head of state a day after an apparent coup.

Gen Horta N'Tam becomes the transitional president for a period of one year. He took the oath on Thursday, in brief and muted proceedings at army headquarters.

N'Tam, who until a day earlier had been head of the presidential guard, barely cracked a smile during his swearing-in or while stood outside flanked by officers while for cameras.

Some civil society groups in Guinea-Bissau have accused outgoing President Umaro Sissoco Embaló of masterminding a "simulated coup" against himself with the help of the military, saying it was a ruse to block election results from coming out in case he lost.

"This manoeuvre aims to prevent the publication of the electoral results scheduled for tomorrow, November 27," the civil society coalition Popular Front said in a statement on Wednesday.

His closest election rival Fernando Dias has also echoed these claims.

But Embaló has not responded to the allegations.

He has said he has survived multiple coup attempts during his time in office. However, his critics have previously accused him of fabricating crises in order to crack down on dissent.

The military has already suspended the electoral process and blocked the release of the results of Sunday's presidential election which were expected on Thursday.

An unnamed military source has told the AFP news agency that Embaló is being held by the army at its staff headquarters, where he is being "well-treated".

In response to news of the apparent coup, the chair of the African Union (AU) Mahmoud Ali Youssouf demanded "the immediate and unconditional release of President Embalo and all detained officials".

He also reminded Guinea-Bissau's leaders of "the imperative of respecting the ongoing electoral process".

Sandwiched between Senegal and Guinea, the West African country is known as a drug-trafficking hub where the military has been influential since independence from Portugal in 1974.

Guinea-Bissau has witnessed at least nine coups or attempted coups over the last five decades.

My brother. Many people don't actually knew those mofos called Indians, when I was in Malaysia, there was this widespread incidents of attacks against other races different from Indians or an affiliated same like, Nepal, Sri Lanka, etc that they see as part of them, we called them Helmets
Because, once they notice another race going with any Indian lookalike females like this they will plant attacks with multiple motorbike and used their Helmets to attacks and beat their victim
To stupor or even resulted in serious injury or deaths. It has happened to many overthere. When a Indian girl operating an Internet cafe in Cheras started coming closer to me, I begin to run. As she's getting closer and closer myself I do legs over and over the day she started crying 😢 for my head I stop going there and change my residence. My elders said. Learn from other pitfalls.
Those people are really weird.

It is evil people like u who manipulated this man to kill his own daughter. What has their father got to do with their lifestyle when they are already grown adults. The earlier we stop acting holier than thou and stop blaming parents for the actions of grown adults the better society we will live in. it might even shock you that people like u, who make this kind of statement, have daughters who do worse things than those girls you are complaining about.

Nigeria men with their foolishness about questing for virgin this or that, because of this kind of outdated mentality causes many people to destroy or rendered other people life useless. Women libido are way active than men. once they become dis-virgin, the hormones become very active and demanding, which required sexual active steady at any given chances, she will still need more than what you can offer her sexually. Those living in northern nigeria and arab countries can attestate to that fact. Just pray to God to give you a good wife that can be managed. forget virgin or no virgin bro. huh huh huh

Foreign AffairsOutcry In Guinea As Ex-military Leader Camara Pardoned By Junta Chief by LEXYLOV(op): 8:29pm On Mar 31, 2025
Guinea's ex-dictator Moussa Dadis Camara, jailed for 20 years over a 2009 massacre, has been pardoned for "health reasons" by the West African country's junta head Mamadi Doumbouya. The decision has prompted angry reactions from victims, their families and human rights groups.
The abuses continued for several days against women who were held captive, and detainees were tortured.

Only 57 bodies of the victims were recovered, according to families and human rights organisations, and the toll is believed to be far higher.

Dadis Camara was found responsible for the massacre and for failing to punish its perpetrators, a judge ruled.

Seven other people were also sentenced to terms of up to life imprisonment for their role in the massacre.
