At the moment, I don't strictly follow the rules, and it's because of conditions which aren't in my power.

What do I mean by this?
I'm not financially buoyant to follow the rules to the letter. What's the point of eating boiled yam and vegetable this moment, only to eat rice and beans later, going against the rules of carbohydrates and protein combination?

I eat what's being offered to me, but even at that, I'm quite selective.
If I can afford to follow the rules, I do so.

So far, I've grown my will to resist the urge to consume sugar, fried food, cake, soft drinks, wine and alcohol.

It wasn't a 'will growth' per say. I just looked around me and I made my observation which led to my epiphany: rarely do you see a 30-35 yr old man or woman looking fit, even the rich ones. Right now in Nigeria, you recognize a rich man by the size of his pot belly, which shouldn't be so


The desire to not want to end up unfit in my old age was enough to make my effort 'will less'. It's just like a woman who sees her 2 yr old baby about to cross the road or put his hands in a fire. She doesn't think if she should save the baby or not. She acts! It was a choiceless action on the part of the mother

The essence of knowing the law (truth) is so that we can also become good law breakers. Yes, read again.

Too much rule following is bad because it makes us robotic, while too much rule breaking is bad, because it causes a chaotic environment. There has to be a balance, and that's where discerning/wisdom comes in.

I don't take soft drink, but if I'm stranded in a desert with no water in sight, I'll take 1 or 2 gulps of coke to quench my thirst. But if I was stranded in the desert with a bottle of sniper and no water in sight, I wouldn't drink that sniper. I'd rather I die of thirst.
I hope you can understand that analogy.

If I'm to follow the rules of food combining to the letter, I'd die of starvation. But when wealth comes and I can afford the simple life that I want... boy o boy

I think you’re right. Sometimes rigidity is bad. The key is balance.

Stay because survival should not require heroism.

Stay because there is dignity in choosing stability over sentiment.

Stay because loving Nigeria does not require sacrificing your sanity to it.

And perhaps one day, when Nigeria finally becomes the country its people have spent decades promising it will become, you can return not out of obligation or guilt, but by genuine choice.

Until then, stay where your tomorrow has a fairer chance than your yesterday

You're asking the right questions.
It was not so from the beginning. Plants were the meat and herbs for humans. After the flood, Noah and his family could legitimately eat flesh as food, unlike what was legit pre-flood.
Also, animals became aggressive and dreaded humans after the flood.

I do not know why as I don't have all the answers. I'm sure in due time, the answer will come. But just know that it was not so from the beginning.

Keep meditating on these things, as long as your motive is pure and genuine, you'll definitely get the correct answer.

Then I tell them something like, "This seems like a very responsible position, being in charge of the health of people who trust you with their health. You're comfortable with this kind of huge responsibility?"

Then they say "errmmmm"

Then I proceed " who's the most richest richhheeest billionaire you know of"
They tell me Mr X

then I say " if I was billionaire X, i ask you to choose a course that you'd love to study, regardless if it's a foreign course that can only be studied abroad, and also regardless of how much it'll be, what course would you choose to study?

Then they tell me " Nursing"


Then I rephrase " There really isn't any nobility in hardwork. Most people see suffering as hardwork. Imagine you make all the money in the world and all the richest people in the world look up to you, what then would you do when you're not working for money?"

Then the revelation continues...

You can really know that people aren't happy...go find out yourself and see. Try this exercise for yourself and you'll begin to understand that when people aren't truly happy by being in field or professions they don't like, then sadness creeps in and it grows to depression

Think of sexual arousal as a power grid generating power.

Every time you orgasm the power generation goes to zero and you kill the grid. Literally you can't manifest anything into your life
