On 27th July
No dream could stop the bustling n hustling from my Room n Hostel at large.. Especially dos that couldnt register yesterday..
After bathing, i left d hostel by 4:30 to the pavilion.
I added an hour of Holy sleep to my shortened routinely 6hrs sleep which was interrupted by noise in the hostel.

The camp officials came in, addressed us den Parade practice started in earnest as we were taught all d remove hairdress, beagle sounds, intro of camp officials n so forth.
After spending some quality hours learning d Parade processes...

We had Coloured Hot water n Bromate foam bread as Breakfast,

Continued with some registration palavers
Had beans n garri for lunch

Parade practice for swearing in continued immediately we just finished lunch...
There on parade ground,, countless fainting real n unreal ensued..

Watery ogbono soup n a small mould of garri for dinner

The bustle continues as i gave out my oversized Khaki for shaping n ironing in preparation for the swearing in Tmoro... While i got mysef busy with some slay mamas


Gulped down a bottle of palmy before hitting the sacks

NOTE its my personal experience...

Haven been deployed for 17 Batch A stream 1 but left camp due to Thumbpriniting ish on d day of swearing in, i jejely go village go hide cuz i cudnt bear d questions dat wud arise if dos close to me discovers i left camp.

By God's special Grace after all applications Nysc sent me a mail to go re-enrol my thumb print of which i did..

Fast forward to 21st July, i printed my callup n it retained the Cross River i was initially posted...

On Wed 26th July
I set out on my Second NYSC Journey to Calabar.. The bus delayed due to low passengers turnout to my farthest expectations
After 3hrs we moved it took us 3hrs plus to get to Oduokpani where me n fellow pcms boarded a bus to Akamkpa which was 20mins drive from oduokpani.... On getting to the camp gate where we were searched thoroughly, we headed straight to Boys hostel where a room was allotted to the 5 of us from Umuahia.
We headed straight to the Pavillion where Registration was ongoing...

By sharpness n fastness i got registered in less than 35mins even before people dat arrived early to camp, Ah got Platoon 4 proceeded to platoon n bank stuffs regitrations.
I jazzed into maimi n cooled off with a chilled bottle of Stout after downing a plate of Hot egusi soup..
After much ameboing around, i observed the lightsout

Akamkpa is a 30mins drive from calabar
So just find ur way to calabar its easy cheap n fast from there...
Was posted in stream to cross river but thumbprinting sent me out of camp xo was reabsorbed again for stream 2...

So to say I know all d cons n runs in akamkpa

as long as u printed your call up letter and got posted,a state code had been pre arranged for u already,if u had succeeded in thumb printing,u would have gotten it immediately but cos of your failure to thumb print,u couldn't get it. I hope you guyz get absorbed into stream 2, something i'm seriously looking forward to.

Man, I pray it never happens again. It was a surreal event for me. I pray I get Edo just for the fact I made friends with the ICT guys, getting a favorable PPA will be on deck.
