In summary, funds that were diverted from the Amnesty Program for repentant militants in the Niger Delta were used to set up Peace Airlines. Onyema is just a front for the real players behind the scenes.

Mrnairalandd:

You r nothing but a worthless braindead pig. You worthless beings called Igbos always hold Yorubas responsible for all your calamities/stupidities as if Yorubas signed memorandum with your ancestors that Yorubas ll always be available to fight on their behalf. Where were you when the same ipob were calling in on live radio with Nnamdi Kanu saying those horrible things about the Yorubas for no reason.

Where were you god forsaken people called Igbos when ipob were running curses on Yorubas without any provocation?

I actually told an Ijaw friend vthen that all Igbos were keeping quiet with all the war calling utterances and other terrible things being spewed on radio Biafra but the moment other tribe reciprocate the same hatred towards Igbos over their own regional radio, Igbos would start playing victims. Now, look at it today, are you not blaming Yorubas again despite being the victim of your freaking stupidity.

We don’t want your freaking friendship. You need more alliance with your small neighbours who could help you from the same Fulanis who are mercilessly killing you in hundreds in the East.

Orlu was Mercilessly attacked few weeks ago with score of your kinsmen in their early graves but you Morons didn’t do shit about it.

Afenifere which is Yorubas umbrella even shouted more than your own Ndigbo Congress about what military did in the East. All they got is this!

I even condemned the Afenifere each time they got involved in the issue of South East against Federal govt cos i already knew that you guys are nothing but hate-personified people.

Politics / WAEC: Atiku Faults Nigeria’s Withdrawal From 2020 by Librate(m): 1:07am On Jul 11, 2020
Nigeria’s former vice president, Atiku Abubakar, has said Nigeria’s decision not to let its students participate in the 2020 May/June West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) was a wrong one.
The federal government recently reversed its earlier announcement on the resumption of schools, saying no Nigerian school will participate in the regional examinations earlier scheduled for August 5 to September 5.

This year’s examination, administered by the West African Examinations Council (WAEC), was postponed indefinitely in April after it was earlier scheduled to commence in May.

The postponement was due to the COVID-19 pandemic that has ravaged the globe for months. Nigeria has so far recorded over 20,000 infections and over 600 deaths.

Mr Abubakar, in a statement Friday, said the federal government’s decision “will further create chaos in the public education system and exacerbate an already bad situation.”

According to him, the cancellation will cause a set back for 1.5 million Nigerian youth who write the examination annually.

“To abruptly cancel this examination is to set back our nation’s youth, and place them behind their contemporaries in other West African nations. This is perilous, because Foreign Direct Investments and other economic indicators, are tied to the educational indexes of nations.”

He said Nigeria already lags behind other African nations in crucial indices, like school enrolment, pass rates, and out of school children.
Suggesting a way out, Mr Abubakar stated that “rather than cancellation, there are better ways to protect the health of Nigerians and prevent the pandemic from escalating.”

“We could mobilise all available public and private infrastructures including primary schools, stadia, and cinemas, for the examinations,” he said.

“In the alternative, the federal government can prevail on WAEC to have staggered examinations with a different set of questions for each shift. Doing so will allow WAEC Nigeria implement social distancing and achieve the goal of carrying out the examinations. A win-win scenario.”

Mr Abubakar then urged the Muhammadu Buhari-led administration to consider a reversal of the decision “because if this policy is not reversed, tens of thousands, and possibly hundreds of thousands of Nigerians, will breach social distancing rules to cross over to neighbouring West African nations to write their WASSCE, rather than miss a year.”

First and foremost, if you apply for a study permit visa with this mentality of "Greener Pasture", I am sorry to burst ur bubble, U will be refused even before u apply. Reason is cos u wont be able to convince the VOs that u are going to Canada solely for studies and coming back to Nigeria. So if u are going for greener pasture just jejely go to express entry, but if you are going to Canada to study, then welcome on board and do ursef some good by going to the 1st page of this thread(Part 15) and read up on vital infos and stories of successful applicants. Then after reading, if u dnt still understand, then u can come back here and ask ur questions. Peace
Thanks

TO ALL CALABAR CORPERS

Accommodation is a serious issue in Calabar but as an ex-corper, I can assist you.

I have a two bedroom, newly built flat at BASIN TOWN, Calabar. Modern facilities and water are in the flat. This place is very close to the NYSC secretariat. I'm ready to give it out for just #300,000 per annum. No agency, no agreement as you are renting from the owner directly. Corpers can pair to rent it.

Quote me if you are interested.
Was praying to be posted to calabar but wen i saw dis

Still on 29th July

Am writing with limited time n space so daz y i jump certain details n gists but hopefully with time will elaborate more on my episodes...

After the Morning drills we had 2 balls of Akara n Pap with 2cubes of sugar for Breakfast

We had our laundry n sanitation time till we had our lunch which was watery ogbonoic bitterleaf soup, very yucky,
While we were still eating in the hostels the Beagle started its annoying sound of "fall out'. The murmuring dat ensued here n there lessenned wen Soldiers started chasing everybody out.. As a perpertual late comer i chop anoda frog jump,
We got to our platoon as the Officers incharge of our platoon arent smiling at all,
We have a female Officer n a male officer as our platoon instructors..
During the parade a guy made my day..
The guy obviously not in sound health defied his health condition to be attentioning upandan, at a point his body cudnt take it any more he signaled a red cross corper to help carry him out of d parade ground dat he is weak, d red cross corper insteas of heeding d guys words continued asking useless questions like.. Wats wrong with u? Av u eatn? Aw is it doing u?
While his incessant questions persisited the sick guy fell on him n fainted lols no be person tell d red cross guy to summon for stretcher n ambulance...

After the parade we elected our platoon president n vice president
We went for our dinner... Untasty jollof rice n fish
Before eating jack d beagle started again for fall out... Dey wont even allow d food to digest in our stomachs
Its our welcome party
Yoruba igbo n hausa welcomed us in their different styles
It was fun tho as the dance floor was lit up by unholy crowd on d stage
Den i jazzed into mamy to hotten up my nerves grin
Before we were chased back to the hostels by the soldiers

Lemme use dis opportunity to describe the Camp....
Cross river State temporary Orientation camp is located at akamkpa Abi lga of cross river... Its a 30mins drive from calabar municipal..
Its a College of Education, with a large landmass, d school boasts of two hostels for Male n two for females, the truth is dat the school is even better dan some Federal polys via infrastructure, environment, landscape etcetera
WATER
The camp has a flowing stream n lots of boreholes n a Mechanical pump (manpower) all around d hostels.. So water isnt a problem so to say
ELECTRICITY
At least we get good 4hours of Nepa light everyday, so its fair to me
MAMMY Market
The mammy market is more of temporary defined bcuz evry structure there is built with bamboo sticks n woods den mostly canopies, tho tinz are expensive in the market, everytin is virtually on biz there
SECURITY
the security on camp is tight as should be, the soldiers are visibily all over d camp, dey r easily spotted at every nook n cranny
In generality i commend Nysc for providing us a school better dan their permanent Orientation camp at obubra

Will drop more updates about d camp later

29th July

I heard the beagle as it was drawing close to my ears
I snapped out of my dreams due to d sweet nyt rest powered by a heavy rainfall lastnight.

Prepared n ran out of the hostel straight to the hall... Observed our morning praises, prayer, daily meditation, announcements n news.

We walked down to parade ground to our different platoons where Man O war gave us soft drills n gyrations before Army took over to jumping upandan, lefting n righting.
Mehn dis tin isnt for me..
Tho catching my Fun..
Make ah go chop
grin

Had our breakfast Tea n Bread again angry angry angry
Ah tire for d food as ah kukuma eat for mammy,
Collected my khaki Trouser From a laundry guy dat ironed it for me...
Went to the Hostel as i freshened up n prepared for the coming Prof Sen Ben Ayade...

9ckock dot we were beagled grin out of hostel wen the state chief judge arrived.. All protocols were observed as we paraded n sworn in as Corpers

Had Garri n Egusi soup for lunch

I made many more friends especially the girls cheesy wink cheesy

Met a sweet curvalocious bootystic bumpy black angel today daz a story for anoda day shaa

Dey started paying our Transport allowance of 1500 cash

Kept on chasing girls upandan grin and asking names here n and there

From the announcements in the morning we ought to have our welcome night sumtin sumtin only to be surprised with a welcome parade lol

We entered a new phase of parade in which platoon officers (soldiers) are in charge

We started with Attention At ease! About turn left story story

The grounds started to tremble with sounds of shift lemme faint, as the Red cross hands were filled up with fainted corpers both fake n real

I even considered the option wen the parade became heavy on me

Wheras my close friends av all joined OBS n Redcross.. In which i defied to join it dawned on me its importance but i insisted within mysef to participate just in the platoon...

Nigerian Flag was lowered at 6clock n subsequently we were relieved of parade drills

We had jollof Rice for dinner

I must commend the kitchen here... The foods r cooked Well n sweet n also d sharing formular is quite impressive

Rained heavily xo cudnt chill out in mammy
Lights out
