PoliticsRe: WORLD YOUTH. DAY: Read What President Buhari Promised Nigerian Youth by LicaPica: 12:54pm On Aug 14, 2016
Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machines are robotic machines that makes use of artificial intelligence to perform human tasks automatically, repeatedly and accurately without being tired.
They are the basis and the secret of development for Western World, Asia and beyond. Their usage formed the bedrock and brought about industrial revolution to these countries. Surely, they will effect Nigeria positively.
While 3d printing is a disruptive technology that is presently taking the globe by storm. They are used in rapid protyping down to complete product manufacture. They are also robotic and finds great application in digital manufacturing.
A guy pitched at the avdd on the 23rd of June, 2016 on the local manufacture of 3dprinters and CNC machines.
He even came with some samples of his 3dprinted items which he displayed on the desk of the panelist during his pitch.
He got the applause and admiration of almost all the judges and fellow pitchers who exchanged contacts with him after his pitch. Even the SA to the VP who was the chief host exchanged contacts with him and told him about inviting him to Abuja for a meeting with the minister of science and technology. For about 15mins after his pitch, he was surrendered by these aforementioned persons collecting his contact and asking one or two questions from him. I remember, one of the female judges (panelist) told him: you are the kind of person the government is looking for. Nigeria needs you, where have you been?
The much awaited list is out but this guy, his name is not on the shortlist.
My question to the Presidency, to the avdd organisers and to all Nigerians is 'what happened '? Why discard this brilliant bright idea?? Is this how we want to move the country forward innovatically and techonologicallyhuh Where is this guyhuh?
