The Federal University of Technology Akure Students' Union (FUTASU), a consortium of articulate, dynamic, pragmatic, progressive and vibrant students' leader, wish to intimate the First batch of provisionally admitted
students and the general populace that:

After thorough and extensive deliberation
with the University Management, the deadline for the payment of Acceptance Fee for the First batch of provisionally admitted students has been extended till 24th of November, 2017.

I. The 1-week grace window is provided to enable the parents and/guardians of who were previously unable to meet up with the payment to make such payment with haste, as there would be no further extension.

II. The acceptance fee still remains Fourty Thousand Naira Only (NGN 40, 000), and candidates are advised to ensure confirmation of payment on the university website after successful payment.

The Federal University of Technology Akure Student Union Government sincerely appreciate the Vice Chancellor, the Dean of Students' Affairs and the entire University Management for having a listening ear and for the extension of time provided for the payment of the acceptance fee.

If you are interested in staying in the hostel, you will be notify when the application start in due time.


If you prefer offcampus, you will surely secure one when you resume.
Standard Off campus accommodation ranges from 45,000- upward (as high as 120,000).

​THE DOWNWARD REVIEW OF THE ACCEPTANCE FEE OF THE FIRST BATCH OF PROVISIONALLY ADMITTED STUDENTS.​


The Federal University of Technology Akure Students' Union (FUTASU), a consortium of articulate, dynamic, pragmatic, progressive and vibrant students' leader, wish to intimate the First batch of provisionally admitted students and the general populace that:


I- After thorough and extensive deliberation with the University Management, the Acceptance Fee for the First batch of provisionally admitted students has been reduced drastically from N50,000 to N40,000 due to the current economic situation of the country.


II- The 2-week window to enable the parents and/guardians of successful candidates to make payment for the Acceptance Fee still stand.


III- There will be a refund of the extra amount already paid by any desperate and eager parent/guardian who might have hurriedly made the payment of N50,000 (Fifty Thousand Naira).


The FUTA SUG sincerely thank the Vice Chancellor, the Dean of Students' Affairs and the entire University Management for having a listening ear and for the urgent downward review of the acceptance fee.


The Students' Union also appreciate the unflinching support of NANS Senate Presidency, National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) Joint Campus Committee of Ondo state, Past FUTA SUG Presidents and senior comrades who played pivotal roles in the struggle.

(e) One passport photograph.

(ii) The venue of the screening exercise is the FUTA Digital Resource Centre, “Obanla

(iv) Candidates are requested, in their own interest, to have a feel (practice of the

THE schedule for the university post utme screening exercise for 2017/2018 is as follows;

Thursday 5th October, 2017 - SET, SAAT, SEMS & SMAT.

Friday 6th October, 2017 - SOS.

Saturday 7th October, 2017 - SEET.

Monday 9th October, 2017 - MOP-UP/DIRECT ENTRY.

In the same vein the student union tutorial for 2017/2018 candidate had commenced, and with the interest of the candidates in mind, we enjoin the candidates to attend it. It is free and not compulsory, and it would run till the last day of the post utme. Accommodation is also available for the university candidates.

The Joint Action Congress (JAC), consisting of Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities (SSANU); Non-Academic Staff Union of Universities, (NASU); and the National Association of Academic Technologists (NAAT); has embarked on an Indefinite Strike which starts from Today September 11, 2017.


2. Aspirants, especially Direct Entry Students are to be informed that very Soon, Post-UME form would be accessible.
Jambites are adviced to await the screening date which will be sent via email or text message through the phone number which was registered during the registration.

3. Futasu tutorial will start as soon as the date is announced and the system of Futasu Accommodation scheme will be made known at the appropriate time.

4. Debunk rumours of Post-Ume date. The date and schedule would be appropriately sent to the concerned parties.

Candidates who do not participate in the Post-UTME screening will not be considered for admission. FUTA will not consider candidates with “Awaiting Results”.

SCREENING FEE IS N2, 000.00(Two Thousand Naira) payable at any bank on e-tranzact platform only.

METHOD OF APPLICATION
Candidates are required to
