A patriotic young Nigerian in diaspora identified as Steve Champ on X has released a patriotic Anthem titled “My country: Future now “ - [Listen: My Country: Future Now](youtu.be/3sAgWX0LDCw)

to inspire patriotism in all Nigerians and to mobilise voices in Nigeria and diaspora to demand for Blockchain voting system using Estonia and Sierraleone 2018 models. He also cry out he wants to vote like his friends who are in diaspora. In a detailed post on X, the patriotic singer who is said to be passionate to see Nigeria and Africa work described it as “ An Urgent National Patriotic Call : Blockchain voting as Nigeria’s lifeline”. He also demand that all patriots should mount maximum pressure on the National Assembly to pass diaspora voting bill and laws. He frowned at why about 20million Nigerians in diaspora have no electoral voice, they can’t vote when it comes to critical voting to determine who superintends over their fatherland while same diaspora Nigerians people remit over $20B yearly. Many other African countries vote from diaspora. He described those sitting on this bill as unpatriotic. Resistance gives way when pressure insist and efforts never quits. People messing up over 220million Nigerians aren’t up to 5000 in number. He wants other diaspora patriots and media to join home based Nigerian media to amplify his voice through the new Anthem for change. He Also gave a well detailed solutions using. Blockchain voting to stop the death of citizens whose crime was to come out to vote. Paper ballot fuels thuggery , ballot snatching, bloodshed, violence, result mutilation which is not required in this 21st century when we have blockchain.

A silent  anger burns across Nigeria—not with violence but with the demand for irreversible electoral justice. The 2023 election exposed our bleeding wounds:  
- "Server glitches"that erased our voices  
- Result sheets rewritten with pens  
- Over 2,000 lives lost since 1999 (800+ butchered in 2011 alone)
- 5+ judges overriding 220 million citizens

We cannot enter 2027 with these same flaws.The solution is before us.  

🔴TWO NON-NEGOTIABLE REFORMS
#1.FixLegacyBlockchainVotingForNigeria
- Problem: BVAS failed. INEC’s opacity and judicial interference mock democracy.  
- Solution: Blockchain voting—tamper-proof, transparent, proven in:  
  - 🇪🇪 Estonia (since 2005)  
  - 🇸🇱 Sierra Leone (2018)  
  - 🇬🇭 Ghana (coming next)
- Why It Matters:
  - Ends electoral violence (no more ballot snatching or "results in gutters and bushes"  
  - Saves ₦200B+(2023 election cost ₦305B)  
  - Restores trust with real-time, verifiable results.This stops post election  litigations. How many litigations  did we see in the last South African election? 
Let’s copy the right things that move us forward.
- Demand: A Legacy Blockchain Voting Bill to bind INEC to integrity.  

#2.DiasporaVoteNow
- Injustice: 20 million Nigerians abroad remit $20B/year which keeps Nigerian economy going but cannot vote when it is time to decide who takes charge of the affairs of their fatherland. That is a great injustice to patriotic citizens.
- Global Standard : Diaspora votes has been proven to decide elections worldwide. It can favour either way (both incumbent and opposition)
- Power: Imagine 10 million Nigerian diasporas voting with NIN/driver’s licenses or any other government issued identity card?
- Demand: A Nigerian Diaspora Electoral Commission for  inclusive participation.

Inspired by Prof. Dora Akunyili_who witnessed daylight rigging in 2011, lost the election but vowed to run again to go to the Senate and make rigging impossible through legislation. Though she passed before fulfilling this, her fight lives on.

#⚡IMMEDIATE ACTION STEPS
1. Pressure NASS: Every hand must be on deck. Call your National Assembly members charged with making laws especially patriots among them. Flood NASS complexes with petitions, flood their online page with this passionate demand, organise town halls,individual or group peaceful protests with placards to demand:  
   - Blockchain Voting Legislation 
   - Diaspora Voting Rights Bill 
2. Media & Experts: Dissect blockchain’s viability for Nigeria using Estonia and Sierraleone models.
3. Every Citizen: Speak up! Silence = Complicity.  

WHY THIS CAN’T WAIT
Without these reforms, 2027 will repeat 2023’s tragedies. Families of slain innocent citizens in previous elections are still mourning their loved ones, The technology exists, The diaspora is ready,  Only our will is missing. 
We have prayed for the peace of our Jerusalem(Nigeria), its stability and greatness, right now, we make demands as citizens! We ask, seek and find to get these because it is with the NASS, INEC, the president. It will be difficult  for patriots to emerge with constant rigged elections. So maximum pressure on them will cause this to happen.
Let’s make Nigeria the first African giant to adopt blockchain voting following Sierraleone—a legacy for generations unborn
