The citizens are running away, fleeing the country in very large numbers because of hardship.

Venezuela citizens supposed to be enjoying like UAE, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Oman and Bahrain citizens today even more than them because of their heavy oil.

Millions of Venezuelans have fled their beloved country for Spain for greener pastures etc.
Millions of Venezuelans are dying of poverty, hunger suffering from bad leadership in the mist of crude oil wells here and there deposited in their country.
