Russia has forgotten that during WW2, Nazi soldiers came within 100 miles of St. Petersburg which was the capital of the USSR. They were pushed back by Allied forces and reinforcements sent in from Kyiv which was under the USSR as at then.

The funny thing is that 2 years ago, Putin begged North Korea to send him troops. Those ones came in an Ukrainian soldiers slaughtered them massively. They didn't last 3 months in the battlefield.
