I bought two houses within my first three years abroad while lots of black Americans sit on their lazy asses relying on handouts from the government. I am able to save a cash of about $250,000 in accounts while these people are busy complaining. I worked my butt off in the cold to get where I am today and do not look down or condescend to anyone.

You have brilliant Nigerian Doctors scattered around the world ,why is there no appetite and ambition to attract them back and give them even better packs,working conditions and standards of living that what they are being offered where they are. This goes for professors and educators as well . I don't get this dependency mindset for real. It's embarrassing that an elite of any country have to depend on other countries for basic healthcare and education. There shouldn't be any Nigerian politician whose kids school in other countries, because then....why would they fund and improve the sector in Nigeria?💁‍♂️. It's absurd that you have children of your leaders taking pics in different Universities around the globe that are well funded by the government and private sector over there....something that could be easily replicated over there as well if citizens put their foot down. He’s human. May your patience not be tested after being mentally abused. I have witnessed both sides which is why I covered both sides. It takes a moment of anger and losing your patience just once for this to happen. If people know they have troublesome family members they must protect their spouse from them. If the problem was coming from the wife he would have targeted her when he was alone with her. For him to go after her mother shows she was the target. A lot of Nigerian parents raise their children in a way that they cannot question or caution them. So they have free hand to cause chaos anywhere.

I hear you , but the problem is that we are all speculating here and I'm also correct to say that this man could be just another abuser and the mother intervened and he focused on her and things went to far. We don't know these people and the circumstances that lead to this outburst. Anything is possible.
