The gripen is slightly better than jf17 but its 68 million for gripen versus 25 million for jf17 where gripen is only slightly better and nigeria needs at-least two squadrons to take care of bokos plus jf17 will give access to more lethal goodie bags and training with china,pakistan and possibaly turkey and usa oh and just for the record both carry lgb,s but jf17 has been tested in Pakistani tribal areas in night time

Even Pakistan does not have trust on a Junk Fighter and they have ordered J20 in large numbers. They are only looking forward to dumb all their Joint Failure no:17 to the less unfortunate like NIGERIA.

Whatever goes by the name of Junk Fighter cannot do aerial refuelling, we are still waiting for the 29th aircraft that is said to have all those features. If Nigeria is banking for JF then they will have think twice before yet again they will be flushing their money down the toilet just as they have done with F7s. The Junk Fighter is just another F7 and even F7s outperforms it.

Actually jf17 is better than f7 and is Pakistan,s replacement for its f7 and mirage III/V

The Makers also refer to the JF-17 as a 3rd Gen Aircraft!! Special thanks to @Agugaust for providing me with that source a few months ago!

3rd gen come on the block II is comparable to f16 a/b which is a 4th gen plane even some usa pilots said that while evaluating jf17
