izzou: I have heard a lot of stories of people abroad who go through loneliness. I really don't know how it works there.
I know universities are a bubbling space for relationships. I surprise say person dey lonely for there. Lmao it's not as easy making friends. Especially when you come around winter period. Your loneliness go really slap anyhow. Even with family sef, I realize something as basic as speaking pidgin English generally is greatly missed, that whenever I run into Nigerians, the joy in my heart is alot when we both speak pidgin. That's just for pidgin oo. |

We do not have ordinary light. Infact almost everybody in naija has to be responsible for their security. |

GloriousGbola: of the three you listed , only roads are provided by govt in western countres. the rest are provided by commercial entiities
we have done the whole public/govt provision of utilities and it failed
and roads are split between, local govt, state and federal
so is it the fg or your local govt chairman who is the issue where your roads are concerned? I genuinely didn't know CCB was paid by commercial entities in Canada. I would have sworn it was the government itself 🤔 |

BlueRayDick: It's just so sad.
One woman called in on a radio program I was listening to earlier this morning; she said they went to visit a family friend who lost his wife in the incident. The deceased wife drove her husband to the airport in the morning for him to catch his flight to Abuja after which she went to work at Afriland towers.
The man was called in Abuja that there was fire in his wife's office, so he had to rush down back to Lagos. He was directed to UBA head office where the news was later broken to him that his wife had died in the incident. The woman left behind 2 kids and her husband. She said the husband is still in shock till now .
The caller claimed the building had emergency exit but that it had been rented out to another tenant. In all my years dealing with HSE, I never hear this thing before. Rented out what? |

GloriousGbola: I just remembered one of my former colleagues has a wife who is in FIRS
i just called him
fortunately she was out of the office when it happened
apparently it is actually 11 to 13 people that died - not 7. also i am hearing that there may have been fire escapes and that the spaces [ likely the landings] were rented out as shopping space
and yes everything points to an inverter catching fire What?? M ml They rented out ERP spaces? |

So his post is in furtherance of that.

BlueRayDick: It is actually Dangote that is to blame for this issue not the Unions.
Nigerian Labour laws allows for staff of oil companies to belong to respective labour unions like PENGASSEN, NUPENG, etc. Dangote banning his staff from belonging to these labour unions is in contravention of labour laws.
The only way these unions can force his hand is to go on strike since strike is the only language Nigerian government and employers understand.
As regards ur last paragraph, that is a blatant lie; nobody is forcing Dangote to sell PMS at a dictated price. In fact, marketers who import their PMS are willing to sell below the price Dangote is selling. As at This past Saturday I bought PMS at 845 per liter at an independent marketer filling station along Lasu-Iba road, while MRS that sells Dangote PMS still sells for N860 and NNPC sells for N865. Lmao.. I can't remember the last time you didn't factcheck semid4lyfe |

izzou: I think it's intentional
Adding the percentage of Lagos and the SW, will put the SW above all regions. Tinubu already said he has done more for NW than others. So he needs to win their hearts
So this is the best way to put it. NW still becomes the highest beneficiary (excluding Lagos) And when you exclude Lagos, you make it special status hence why the president said the state is no man's land. |

Lagos is cosmopolitan..Yes But they have true indigenes. They do. So is Lagos a no man's land or not going by all you've said. Or it's not as straightforward to answer 😁 |

But he's right about it's cosmopolitan nature. Everybody is here.
I think I saw a list of the highest tax players in Lagos, and I think the top 2 or 3 are Northerners.
Omoh, we will be fine as a country, las las Daniel Bwala did not come and speak without the authority of Tinubu 😂. So tinubu insulted true lagosians? How are you calling it an insult when they have not said it's an insult yet? Let us wait for the defenders to come and say what they think and we will proceed😁 |

izzou: In a bid to hide the nepotism, they showed all the infrastructure developments in Nigeria, and excluded Lagos.
But that doesn't mean it's not owned by a people. Sadly those people's opinion doesn't matter in the politics of tinubu. He has looked at it and even if there is anger from Lagos from some online youths, the ogas will still keep quiet because he has given the state undue advantage over the rest of the country😁. Basically he can call Lagos anything and the leaders will smile and agree😁. |
