Similar thing was done to federal workers in 2023 or so.17000 Legitimate workers were declared as ghost workers.
The 17,000 workers had to travel to Abuja to clear themselves, some lost their lives in the process.

I think this is what Osun State government should have done. Instead of revalidating the consultant's claims by themself the government should have given at least one month grace period for workers who believe their names were erroneously listed as ghost workers to come forward and clear themselves.

After the one month grace period any worker who did not come forward to clear himself or herself is on his own. The number of those who have come to clear themselves would then be deducted from the original list the consultant submitted and their consultancy fees would be based on the updated list.

The government revalidating the list by itself makes people wonder if they could do it themselves why engage the consultant in the first place?

I will advise the consultant to sue the state government if they are sure they didn't inflate the figure of the ghost workers as their reputation is at stake now.

It's better to pay the higher transaction fees and be guaranteed of getting your money without any stress than to risk being scammed simply because they are running from high charges

Some scientists believe that the universe is not supposed to exist at all! Do you know why?
