2nd Mates / Officers with a minimum of one year experience on-board tanker vessels are needed urgently by a shipping company in Apapa, Lagos to join as a crew on their big tanker vessels. Applicants must have the following certificates;

1. Basic STWC certificates
i.e FPFF - Fire Fighting and Fire Prevention
PST - Personal Survival techniques
PSSR - Personal Safety and Social responsibilities
EFA - Elementary First Aid
OTF - Oil Tanker Familiarization

2. AFF - Advanced Fire Fighting
3. Advanced Medical
4. GMDSS - Global Maritime Distress and Safety System
5. PSCRB - Proficiency in Survival Craft and life Boat
6. ARPA RADAR
7. SSO (Ship Security Officer) / ISPS code / ISM (International Safety Management) code
8. International Passport
9. OOW unlimited / Chief Mate License
10. CDC (Discharge Book)
11. Yellow card
12. ECDIS (not compulsory)
