2 Chainz is not having a good week. On Tuesday afternoon, the Atlanta rapper was sitting on his flight from LAX waiting for take-off, when he was pulled from his seat and escorted off the plane.

The TSA allegedly found marijuana and Promethazine stashed in his checked luggage, which prompted them to remove him from his flight.

According to Fox News , Rev. Joseph Lowery, the civil rights advocate who gave Barack Obama's inaugural benediction, said something very controversial when speaking at an Obama re-election rally Saturday in Forsyth, Georgia. In referring to his days as a young militant, Lowery admitted that heused to say all white folks were going to hell.

After he had mellowed, he changed his view and said that just most whites were going to hell. He went on to say that now he is back to where he was, according to an account in the Monroe County Reporter . The Blaze reported that the journalist from the newspaper paraphrased Lowery's commentsand did not provide a direct quote.

If these comments weren't shocking enough, Lowery also reportedly remarked, at the same event in the St. James Baptist Church, "I don't know what kind of a n----- wouldn't vote for a black man running."

Lowery later claimed he didn't remember making the n-word comment at this event, said to have been attended by hundreds of African Americans. The 91-year-old Lowery has also said that the monologue was a joke from the perspective of a young militant. He said he made it clear at the time that his comments at the event were intended as a joke.

Lowery was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2009.

If it wasn't for his connection to President Obama and the fact that these comments were made at an Obama rally, it is unlikely that this story would get much attention; ironic considering the fact that one of Obama's goals is,supposedly, to bring everyone together. Incidents like this are undoubtedly disillusioning to many Obama supporters from 2008 who believed that electing an African American to the nation's highest office would help the country to be less racially divided.

For all his ridiculous muster, Donald Trump didn't actually break any news with his supposed Barack Obama bombshell today.

But Gloria Allred may have uncovered something sordid about Mitt Romney, and it's all based on a testimony the candidate many years ago involving Staples founder Tom Stemberg and his first wife, Maureen.


According to TMZ sources, Maureen alleges that Romney lied under oath when he told a judge Staples was worth noting, labeling the company's stock as "overvalued" and concluding that he doesn't place a "great deal of credibility in the forecast of the company's future."

Why would Romney supposedly pretend Staples was a dead end?

Because his testimony helped assure Maureen would receive very little in her settlement.

How can it be proven that Romney actually lied and didn't simply mis-judge the value of the stock?

Because he and Tom cashed in their dividends for a fortune with Goldman Sachs just a few weeks after the divorce trial concluded.

Allred, a notoriously attention-starved attorney, is seeking to unseal Romney's testimony in this case.

Says a rep for Tom Stembergin response:
"Over the past several years, the judge in this case has made it very clear that the gag order imposed should not be violated. We have never violated this order and will continue to adhere to the court’s ruling on this case."
