I'm sorry, hope I'm not too derailing.
Does disconnecting -ve terminal of a battery for a long time not weaken the battery?

Thanks

Are they warming the car in your absence? That should not be. The wear and tear invreases if it is done in this method. All you need to do is to fill up your tank and remove the negative terminal of the battery. Lock the door and when you return to the country, just fit the terminal of the battery and you are good to go
The car is driven for 3 km twice a week; it doesnt make sense keeping it ideal.

[quote author=cooldragon post=53251428]how is the RRS treating you

Hi Cooldragon,

My case is unique in the sense that, I don't live in Nigeria; I visit every 3 months and as such my experience with the RRS is limited; however I must say the driving experience so far is breathtaking; this is coming from a guy who drives a 2010 Mercedes E350d coupe daily.

I have read alot about RRS faults so my aim is to preempt costly repairs as well as avert future disaster. Presently the vehicle is driven for a total of 5-10km every week pending my arrival and even when I'm in town I drive it when occasion demands. I have plans to replace some items in the vehicle wish are starting to sound and showing signs of wear and tire; with the info from this group I believe I have found a home full of guys with priceless knowledge..

Hi Guys,

I found this group after numerous online search for a Landrover specialist mechanic. I bought a 2009 RRS sport November last year and I'm planning on purchasing LR3 in a few months. The challenge I have before my next purchase is to find a competent mechanic in Ikeja axis; any suggestions please?

Also are parts readily available locally for Landrover SUV?
