One of the advantages of migrating to Canada as a skilled worker is that you're automatically granted a permanent resident status on arrival. This status entitles you to right to reside and work in Canada, as well as access to health insurance and right to apply for citizenship (after meeting the residency requirement). The Canadian government is currently accepting applications for permanent residence under the Federal Skilled Worker Program. The application is limited to the occupations below.
