As much as Tinubu’s government mismanaged subsidy savings, we need to keep subsidy removal, but decide how to invest the money directly on Nigerians.

The best way to reinvest it is to return back subsidy, petrol is the lifeblood of the country.
When petrol goes high every other thing skyrockets, subsidy is the only thing the common man enjoys.

it seems you lack the understanding of this subsidy thing, there is no money at hand to pay the subsidy. If the globe is selling crude for 100 dollar, Nigeria previous government might sell it for 50 dollars so when they are to buy the petrol, they buy it cheap too but 50% lost on every sales. Now that subsidy is removed,the market determines the price while we take our back our profit making us able to increase Faac to state and Local government to finace projects,fund projects like roads. Health, security .
Remove sentimentsand check the government that has done the most to military, road and education and oil and gas since 1999.

Wow,Atiku just won my heart by championing bringing back subsidy.

In every functional society the government helps the poor by way of subsidies on petroleum, education,food.

The idea that government needs money from saved subsidy funds to build infrastructures is rubbish.Imf, world bank are the ones suggesting such heartless, draconian policies.

If government needs more monies let them cut down cost of running government, tackle oil theft,impose higher taxes on luxury goods,look for alternative sources of income like mining.
