Omowale2023:Even Reno is on nairaland,I heard Anonpoet is one of his usernames, don't know how true tho. |
But when elections comes they will say we are one southern Nigeria. Meanwhile every project is concentrated either Lagos or Ogun, when time for elections comes they will remember we are southern brothers. I blame Good luck Jonathan Sha,he didn't use the opportunity we got during his time. One south my yansh. |
Vision101:We are talking about a man with several years of banking experience, former SEC chairman and former member, economic advisory board during GEJ. |
Lastmankc:E no go better for you and your mama. |
Then the big question is if he cannot manage ordinary party wahalas, how then can he manage Nigeria? How can he defeat the cabals holding the electricity sector. What about the cabals in the oil sector. How can he manage the northern elites problems. He is good at talking on T.v interviews while dishing out statistics but I doubt he has what it takes to manage Nigeria. Obi should just negotiate for a finance minister port folio. |
Hmm interesting times indeed. Iran would never accept US terms to end it's nuclear program completely for 20yrs, infact the current list of negotiators like the foreign minister and house speaker do not have the final say because they do not control the military. It's the IRGC chiefs that runs the show and they are a bunch of hardliners. |
Get rich or die trying. |
brain54:Hahaha 😂.... Ghadaffi was one of the worst leaders Africa ever had, Libya only flourished during his time because of the low population of the country with huge oil reserves. Ghadaffi was a big thief,do you know how much of his stolen assets was frozen in Europe as sanctions? With or without Ghadaffi Libya would still have prospered because it's a wealthy nation, let me not even write about the atrocities he committed like human rights violations and killings during his regime. Stop celebrating evil people. |
Richtaiwo:It took obi 6 years to complete the philosophy program because of frequent strikes by lecturers not because he was a dullard. |
Counterigbolies:Yes he didn't. That's when you consider the huge allocation and IGR Lagos generates. |
Thundafireseun:Liar which forex, the one you profit today and lose everything tomorrow? Just dey play. Except he owns a forex brokerage firm. |
Sad enough not even obi can fix the system. To fix Nigeria you would need someone with the craze of Nyesom wike to implement certain tough policies like. Death penalty for looters. Strict birth control measures. Part time legislation. A unicameral legislature. Cutting down cost of running government. Death penalty for kidnappers and terrorists. |
Subsidy removal the worst decision of the tinubu government, these are policies sponsored by world bank to impoverish Africa. They said the savings from subsidy was shared to governors, but when you look at it properly you notice the savings has been eroded by high exchange rate. There are ways government can generate funds without having to remove subsidy. For instance the ultra wealthy can be taxed like a tax on those earning between 500k and above. |
Pls take this to the jokes section. Which region of Nigeria would even think of voting for him. Although I heard he is a first class graduate and a brilliant technocrat but too divisive to handle a multi ethnic country like Nigeria. |
My brother if police wants to work they will work unless you are unlucky to meet the terrible ones. There are still lots of good officers in the force, and i have used their services alot to track scammers. They have special equipments that can track a criminals movement between different network cell towers, they can also help you access the phone number's call logs and help you get the person that number frequently calls. You won't even spend more than 30k,just gather all proofs of evidence you have. The good part of it is that the scammer would bear cost of the track, chop enough slaps and made to refund. You can still add your own damages on top. |
Opportunity for oil marketers in Nigeria to hike fuel prices by using this as excuse. They would be dancing skelewu by now, anything to inflict pains on masses gives them orgasm. |

The man in B should be more than 50,looks like a grandpa. |
Ibechris2:Shebi you're the online nairaland billionaire ibechris that is always dishing out financial literacy advice to people,so you mean you cannot help your bro pay flight ticket since you're scared for him traveling by road. |
Did the doctors confirm the groundnut caused the boy's illness? How come you are having 7 children and still planning on having the 8th one, didn't they teach you about contraceptives and family planning? |
franugo:Which means you do not know anything about him. Monday was a successful ICT entrepreneur before venturing into politics, most of his net worth comes from there. |
alsudan:What you don't know is that the man you called f9 parallel was a billionaire before becoming governor and it takes being street smart with a high IQ to reach that level. |
Another democrat president will also come on board, look for fault in the deal and then tear it up. |
Beautiful post,if not for sanctions Iran would have been one of the best countries in the world. They even have underground cities, metro systems with underground trains. But It will be unfair to compare it with Nigeria because it's civilization is more than 5000 years old, persia the current Iran was even mentioned in the bible |
fergie001:Where will peter okwute now run to? |
donleo92:The Iranian president is not a hardliner, infact I doubt he has control over the military. The people creating problem are the IRGC chiefs. |
LagosOrigin:Keep asking Adelabu to resign. Some of you think 24/7 power is easy to generate in a populous country like Nigeria. The problem with the sector is not the minister,it will take the president to implement certain structural reforms to guarantee steady power. We don't even have the money to fix it, didn't you read that FG is owing gencos over #4 trillion for supply of gas It will cost over #15 trillion to fix the power sector of which Nigeria doesn't have. |
