north Korea has icbms. If Hypersonics or icbms is loaded with a nuclear war head it can very much touch America. However there will be response. America has New York. Palm beaches. No one wants nukes around these. This Iran war has shown that America does not have the ability to intercept missiles moving faster than Mach 5.
If either goes to war it will be messy but assured victory for America. Thing is the Chinese will never allow it get to that point. They will enter the war.

it’s a deterrence. You can never be broken. If any country tries to do that to you. The the destruction is mutually assured. Refugees in thier millions. Towns and cities deserted due to nuclear wastes and risks of radiation . Unlike Hiroshima and Nagasaki the bombs exposed in the air. Wastes where quickly dispersed by the wind and in a few years they where back to normal. The nukes now will touch down because they can be locked to hyper missiles. So to say if a nuke lands in Abuja, the cities will be evacuated. You leave or you die from strong radiation poisoning
