The issue being presented here is not true.
The main reason for that of union bank has to do with the acquiring of titan trust bank which was said to be a bank owned by former deputy CBN gov. Tunde Lemo with rumours that funds from Titan trust bank has funds from Emefiele who is under prosecution as they are trying to unravel how titan trust bank.was able to raise the capital for the merger.
Union Bank figures are impressive for the year ended 2023.
So it is a compliance/ethical issue coming from Titan rather than Union itself However brought together by proposed merger which was concluded on January 7 2024 which CBN intervened to stop the merger.
The bank is not having issues.
All this took place in January this year
