Politics / Re: Things The Average Igbo Must Understand About The Planned Protest by LordIsaac(m): 2:36pm On Jul 17
Beremx:
the person who created this thread is one of the sensible nairaland members who had existed on this platform. It will take wisdom to understand his posts. Please go back carefully and read his posts. It's because of people like you he wrote in three phases yet you couldn't decipher, yet you couldn't.

@pazienza, you spoke like an elder statesman. This is why Ohanaeze Ndi Igbo has warned Igbos not to participate in the protest because at the end Igbos will be blamed just as they blamed us for ENDSARS protest. You wise posts have been fully digested.

Nde wo
His counsel is for all commoners...making it an Igbo counsel speaks volumes. He is only accusing others of an opportunity he desperately craved for but will never get for the selfsame reason.

Politics / Re: Senate Sacks Ali Ndume As Chief Whip over Anti-Tinubu Comments by LordIsaac(m): 1:13pm On Jul 17
Edygrin:
I saw people in the other thread saying Akpabio could do nothing to Ndume because he's a "staunch politician, who stood up to Buhari".

Tinubu and Akpabio no get joy o, they'll give it to the north how they want it o.

The core North adds no value to this nation but always wants power. Anytime the south is president they'll be looking for ways to remove them.

My happiness is that
the south is waking up.

Anyone they support must fail!

You are right. I booked a return on Qatar. United is even better for DC, they fly directly but I love the Qatar service. I will be sharing some Doha pics too.
Qatar's service is truly second to none, but for the long hours.

When returning, fly Delta. You'll find the trip a very long one with Qatar (albeit the best airline).

Punctuation: The original text lacks proper punctuation, making it hard to follow. Adding commas and periods will improve readability.
Spelling and Grammar: There are spelling errors and grammatical issues, such as "pvssies" (inappropriate slang) and "Mrcock" (likely meant to be a proper noun but is unclear) .
Clarity and Tone: The tone is disrespectful and inappropriate. It’s important to maintain a respectful and constructive tone in discussions.
Capitalization: Proper nouns and the beginnings of sentences should be capitalized.
Consistency: Ensure consistency in terms of narrative style and tense.

Corrected Version
"Abi,
Let it be that way so that we can have plenty of options to choose from. They claim their husbands are cheating, but if you ask them what they are doing behind the scenes, you will be surprised. Some had multiple relationships before eventually getting pregnant, but to them, they are saints.
Some claim they are not maids, so they refuse to do house chores and find it hard to respect their men. Yet, any small thing, they claim their men don't respect women.
Please, let's leave them be. We're here to interact on a first-come, first-served basis."
This version aims to correct the spelling, grammar, punctuation, and tone to make it more respectful and coherent.
Good.😅

Your grammar is really poor for someone assumed to be a university graduate undecided

1. Punctuation:

Double periods ".." should be replaced with a single period or ellipsis "..." for consistency.
The second sentence uses ".." twice, which is incorrect.

2. Grammar:

"rid himself off the mess" should be "rid himself of the mess."
"brought upon him by Trump administration" should include "the" before "Trump administration."
The phrase "If not, why this act.." is unclear and informal. It needs clarification and correct punctuation.
The tag "[/b]" seems to be an unintended formatting code.

3. Informal Language:

"Imagine say Buhari wanted to extend his stay then..." is informal. It should be rephrased for clarity and formality.

4. Clarity and Conciseness:

The overall message is somewhat fragmented and can be more concise.
undecided

Corrected Version
Thank God he wasn't a Democrat.

The poor guy couldn't rid himself of the mess brought upon him by the Trump administration. Otherwise, why would he act this way?

Imagine if Buhari had wanted to extend his stay back then...
Good.😊

How do you handle a partner that keeps
malice for a long period of time?
Like you both can be in the same house for weeks, months not communicating properly?
What would you do?

Are they really marriages out there that experience this kind of lifestyle?
You too stop being irresponsible in the name of marriage. Mostly you take advantage of such men because all they do is keep calm rather than lash out on you. Apologize to that man and let him know that you will be sensitive to avoiding what he dislikes going forward- that's submission. Don't ruin what you have by seeking validation from people who know nothing about your husband's peculiarities.

I don't really like slim chicks.. embarassed
Believe me, the slimmer the better. Those thick ones easily take the form of one's mother (physical appearance) after marriage. Forget all those work-out stories. Many of them become lazy and no longer care about their appearnce when they feel settled- especially the stomach. Work will not even permit it.
