Better facilities, better systems, fairer grading etc all combine to make it distinctly easier.
This is common knowledge and also logical.
And the stats also prove it. Regardless, First Class is not easy anywhere. That's my central argument. |

Education › Re: Your Ex-wife Can Seize Your Salary Inorder To Provide For Your Children's Needs! by LordIsaac(m): 10:03am On Oct 28, 2025 |
Naijalegal: Upon a divorce or separation order, the court may order that one of the couples should pay maintenance to support the other. For instance if the wife has to care for the children then she should receive money to support her in doing that. Maintenance is a right and not a favor. It is usually ordered in favor of women and hardly for men. At common law it was only awarded to a woman.
Maintenance can be enforced by getting a court order to seize the income of your husband upon his failure to pay what the court has ordered. Once you provide to the court some evidence of his failure to pay for his obligations like school fees, rent, feeding and other basic expenses for some period of time, then the court will order for his salary, pension or money in the bank to be seized inorder to settle his obligations.
The good thing about a maintenance order is that as you can apply for it to be increased as the means of income of your husband increases. This is because the children have a right to enjoy the status of their father. As their father's status and wealth increases the law expects the children to also enjoy the bounties. For example if your husband was a junior staff earning 100,000 naira when the court ordered the maintenance of 40,000 naira to be paid and he got promoted as a manager or director earning 5 Million naira per month then you can apply to the court to report with evidence and ask the court to increase your maintenance from 40 thousand naira to 3 million naira.
You do not need to hook the shirt of your husband or fight him to force him to perform his duties as a man. You just quietly go to the court and get a court order and serve it on his employers and they will be pressing sweet alert for you while you chill quietly and enjoy without any headache. His employers or bank have no option than to obey the court order because disobeying court order can land them into jail. Men are not fools, remember that! |

The standard is that, "godliness with cotentment is great gain. For we brought nothing to this world and we shall take nothing out of it. Having food and raiment, let us therewith be content. For they that will pursue wealth shall pierce their souls with many sorrows. But thou o man of God, flee these things...and pursue after righteousness..." |

grandstar: Overseas, getting first class isn't hard.
It is because the public universities are not hungry for students. If the federal government stops funding and they charge the full value of a degree, they may be less stingy with giving out First Class. Getting First Class is hard anywhere. Quote me daily, and twice when you get one. |

DomPerignon: At the end he is telling the court that he doesn't submit to it's authority and will not respond to the allegations made by the prosecution.
He is in effect, now telling the court to base its findings and conclusions on the presented evidence by the Government .
This can not be used in anyway to appeal further his case in a superior court since he refused to put up a defense on the allegations against him.
So what is he going to use to appeal in future ?
It appears he has resigned to his fate. He knows that anywhere he turns, he's fried! He wants to leave room for sentiment. They thrive on sentiments in that region. Plus, except you're from the core North, a Boko Haram or its sister agency (Bandits), you're not bigger than the State. It's grand delusion to think that you alone can change a lawless system, lawfully or otherwise.

Education › Re: You Fit Enter Jail For Kirikiri If You Marry More Than One Woman!!!! by LordIsaac(m): 1:04am On Oct 27, 2025 |
Naijalegal: In Nigeria, marriage na three types o!** We get *Traditional*, *Islamic*, and *Statutory (Court)* marriage. Traditional marriage na our cultural own — bride price, native law and family drama full am. Polygamy dey allowed, so one man fit marry many wives. But make we no lie — if your husband kpai (dies), dem fit share him property like gala, and you go just collect wrapper and small something. Divorce sef easy — just throw you and all your load go outside and ask your papa to refund bride price - no level.
For *Islamic marriage*, your husband fit marry up to four wives as Sharia allow. Divorce fit happen through proper Islamic process (any day he just shout “I divorce you” you must pack all your things and go back to your papa), and when your husband dies all his property will be shared according to Quranic rules. So if you be Muslim man wey like women, this one fit favor you — but e still get law and order inside am.
Now, *Statutory marriage* (aka court or white wedding) na the “one man, one woman” type. Under Nigerian law, if you try marry another person while still legally married — na straight 7 years for Kirikiri. This type of marriage strong wella, especially for women. Property, inheritance, and peace of mind all dey protected by law. So ladies, if you want premium rest of mind, abeg tell am make una do court wedding. If your husband dies you can inherit all of his shoes, cars, clothes, sneakers, caps and half of his landed property before the remaining portion will be shared to his children. This right will be protected even if the woman did not have any child because under the Nigerian law, the duty of a wife is not to have children but to keep her husband company. Statutory wedding(aka court wedding) na the real *soft life package* for marriage in Nigeria 💅🏽💍🇳🇬 Stop the delusion..Men are not foolish. This is Nigeria...keep dreaming! |
