I'm currently struggling with a similar issue.

My car engine had a broken piston so I decided to change the engine rather than fix/replace the piston.

GOT the engine and replaced. Then the electrician came to tell me after that my brain box is in 'code' whatever that means... Now he's saying I have to change the brain box.

I drive a Volkswagen passat 1998 V6 2.8l automatic.

It's been smoking and burning oil for some time now. I have tried using stop smoke during routine servicing but no difference.

A piston is broken now and I'm considering getting a replacement.

Does anyone know where in lagos I can get a replacement engine and how much it might cost
