well.... over 700 of candidates were sent home today. either on medical or documents or any other reason. no one actually knew why he or she is disqualified.... well, Nigeria my Country.

The partner interview will not be hard especially for those who have a genuine interest in audit (tax). But don't think of lying or bluffing your way through. the tax partner is a lawyer, he will see through your lies and tongue.

I am a science major. I had my Second interviewd with the tax Partner yesterday. but my problem is that I have interest in consulting not in tax. I told the panel that and told him that too during the second interview. I hope they will recommend for consulting.

Anyone here who's had a partner interview with Deloitte before?

Good one! also had mine today at civic tower VI and i was asked somewhat similar questions, just to suffice what my friend here said Pls while talking about yourself try not to 'lie' about YOU except if you can defend 'the lie' perfectly because questions can pop up from there; in my own case i mentioned being an 'innovator' this caught their attention and they told me to illustrate any scenario that i was able to 'innovate', quite unfamiliar but i was prepared and i smartly bailed myself out. The interviewers are friendly so be free with them. wishing other invitees best of luck

don't lie, if you do and they question you, don't insist. just come out clean.

all in all... the interview was okay. normal hr question... if you are science or engineering be ready to tell them why you wanna change to career in finance. questions like... tell us about yourself. what do you know bout Deloitte... what do you know about tax. and know your cv like the back of your house...

Do you know if its really necessary to appear on suit for Deloitte interview? I just came to Lagos to do something today and the called to fix my interview in lag tomorrow... I didn't carry my suit or jacket. thank God I had my papers with me.

Apheyz, I was unable to see your mail. one guy here, Festusd, mentioned that he was able to change his. I think what you should do is to email them with your situation and hope it all works out fine

And don't use the word decent for anyone. just say, a girl, lady, woman, guy....... No one is decent, not even me.

Brother, no one is holy. all this people here commenting that she should be stoned to death, if you look inside their own cupboard, you go throw up.
At least the girl still have some conscience to a point that she confessed and apologize even when she's not caught. most of the girls and guys we have won't confess even if you catch them right in the act. what I would say, is let your brother listen to his inner self, and most likely give the girl a second chance.
For me, I like to deal with fellow human beings with flaws than with self proclaimed saints.
