Education / Learn How To Solve Complex Questions On Trig Identities by LordSwift08(m): 11:22am On Jan 17, 2017
Hi viewers, this is my third post on Trig Identities, I am fed up with this topic, anyways lets start, many still complain that they still face challenges with trig identities, so I pick some difficult(complex) questions for us to solve. Remember if you haven't read my previous posts try to check them out.
Now lets begin

1. Prove 1+cosx/1-cosx ➕ 1-cosx/1+cosx = 4cot²x +2
Solution.
When u see a fraction you try your best to get a common denominator which in this case we need to find the lowest common multiple (LCM). When there is nothing common in your denominators;the lcm is the product of the denominator.

(1+cosx)(1+cosx) ➕ (1-cosx)(1-cosx) /(1+cosx)(1-cosx)...continue reading at www.scienceteachinglair..com

A girl started noticing a

She noticed the guy

The guy never tried to
talk to her nor showed
any gesture, he just
moves here and there
by looking into his
mobile phone and
occasionally stealing a
stare at her.
It went on like that for
a year and the girl
understood the guy
was in love with her but
was too shy to express
his feelings. So, she told
her parents. They too
saw him and liked him.
They discussed with
her grandparents about

Education / How To Prove Trig Identities by LordSwift08(m): 9:56am On Jan 13, 2017
This is a continuation of my previous post introduction to proving Trig identities. You can read the post if you haven't. Lets start solving some examples.
1. If sinx=3/5, find the values of cosx, tanx, cotx and cosecx.
Solution.
From SOHCAHTOA,
Sinx=opp/hyp=3/5
using Pythagoras theorem to find the adjacent we have:
5²=3²+adj²
adj²=5²-3²=25-9=16
adj= √16=4.
cosx=adj/hyp=4/5
tanx=opp/adj=3/4
cotx=1/tanx=1/3/4=4/3
cosecx=1/sinx=1/3/5=5/3.

Now let us start proving of Trig identities.
1. Prove (1+tan²x)(1-sin²x) = 1
Solution.
If you remember the seven trig identities in my previous post introduction to Trig identities You can read that post also.
In that post I prove 1+tan²x=sec²x
1-sin²x=cos²x.
Substituting we have
(sec²x)×(cos²x)
but sec²x=1/cos²x,Substituting we have continue reading at www.scienceteachinglair..com.

Introduction to proving Trig identities
Sorry for not being able to upload my video on Monday.
Now today's topic is Trig identities. Is you watch my video on topics you need to know in Calculus, the first topic i mentioned was Trig Identities.
Now lets start, trigonometry is study of sides and angles of a triangle.
We have three trig ratios namely:
Sine
Cosine
Tangent.
To remember them easily we use a mnemonic SOHCAHTOA
Sinx=opp/hyp
cosx=adj/hyp
tanx=opp/adj

Proving of Trig Identities.
Applying Pythagoras theorem,
x²+y²=r²
(rcosx)²+(rsinx)²=r²
r²cos²x+r²sin²x=r²... continue reading at www.scienceteachinglair..com.
Remember your strength in Calculus is determined by your strength in Trig identities.

Education / How To Balance Chemical Equations By Algebraic And Inspection Method by LordSwift08(m): 7:20am On Jan 06, 2017
How to balance chemical equations by Algebraic and inspection method.
In everything in life needs to be balance. Even in mathematics, that's why there is a slogan in maths what you do to the left hand side you do to the right hand side.
Now John Dalton Law of Conservation of Matter states matter(atom) can neither be created nor destroyed.
So we follow that rule in chemical equations, because if either side is greater than the other it means atom has being created or destroyed.
Things to Observe when balancing Chemical Equations.
1. You represent all elements and compounds with their formulas.
2. You don't tamper or alter the formulas given to you (i.e you don't change O2 to O3) the only thing you are permitted to do is to add moles to the elements or compounds until the equation is balanced.

Now let us solve some examples, before then i forgot to say there are two ways in balancing Chemical Equations namely:
1. By Inspection method
2. By algebraic method

Balancing of Chemical Equations by Inspection.
1. Balance H2+O2 --> H2O
Now if you look carefully at the LHS hydrogen has a total of 2 and at the RHS hydrogen has a total of 2.
Oxygen at the LHS it has a total of 2 and at the RHS it has a total of 1.
Remember we can't add a subscript to chemical equations, so you can't say let me write (H2O2), so what will multiply the one(1) that oxygen has to give 2.
2×1=2, so add two to H2O. So now we have
H2+O2 --> 2H2O...continue reading www.scienceteachinglair..com,

Education / How To Solve Directed Numbers (positive And Negative Numbers) And More... by LordSwift08(m): 7:13am On Jan 06, 2017
How to solve Directed numbers.
Direct numbers are positive and negative numbers, they can be represented on a number line, so in this post i will talk about how to add, subtract, multiply and divide direct numbers.
Addition and Subtraction of Direct Numbers.
Now if two numbers of opposite signs that are added together, at the end of calculation the bigger number sign will prevail, i.e -2+5=+3, 5 is the bigger number and its sign was positive so at the end your answer must end up positive.
Any sign at the left hand side (LHS) of a number belongs to that number that is, - 3+5-6
3 has a negative sign, 5 has the positive sign and 6 has a negative sign.

Now lets define positive and negative numbers in terms of money, lets say a positive number is the amount you have currently, while negative numbers are the amount you are owing.
Lets solve some examples
1. - 5+7= you have 7 and you pay the 5 you are owing, how much do you have left, so -5+7=2.

2. - 4 - 3= now you are owing 4,and you still went back to owe another 3,so how much are you owing in total, so -4-3=-7, where the negative sign means you are still owing.

3. 1-2+5-6=
Now let us group the positive numbers from the negative, i.e collect like terms.
1+5-2-6
1+5=6
-2-6=-8
therefore we have 6-8,which means you have 6 and you owed 8,if you pay back 6 how much is left, so you are still owing 2,which means - 2.

4. - 8+5-6+1-2=
-8-6-2=-16
5+1=6
-16+6=-10.

Education / Derivation Of Equations Of Motion by LordSwift08(m): 2:43am On Dec 17, 2016
We now wish to derive the equations of Motion for a body travelling along a straight line with uniform acceleration.
First equation of Motion :
we can remember that acceleration =change in velocity /time
Now using,
u- initial velocity
v- final velocity
t- time taken
a- acceleration
Since change in velocity means final velocity - initial velocity, we now have
acceleration =final velocity - initial velocity /time
substituting
a=v-u/t or v=u+at.

Second Equation of Motion.
Let (s) be the distance covered in a time (t) with the initial and final velocities given by u and v respectively.
Average velocity = u+v/2.
but we now know that v=u+at, hence
average velocity = u+(u+at)/2=(2u+at)/2 = u +at/2.
Distance covered (s) =average velocity ×time
s= (u+at/2)t = ut+at²/2.

Third Equation of Motion.
We can obtain the third equation of Motion with use of the first and second equation of Motion. From the first equation we have: v=u+at.
From the second we have
s=ut+at²/2.
if we square both sides of the first equation, we have
v²=(u+at)²=u²+2uat+a²t²
v²= u²+2a[ut+at²/2]
but s= ut+at²/2,hence we have
v²=u²+2as.
The three equations of Motion with uniform acceleration are:
v=u+at
s=ut+at²/2
v²=u²+2as
where
u=initial velocity
v=final velocity
t=time
s=distance
a=uniform acceleration.

Education / How To Be Outstanding In Physics by LordSwift08(m): 10:43pm On Nov 23, 2016
How to be outstanding in Physics
First of all physics has three areas namely
1. Theoretical aspect
2. Practical aspect
3. Calculation aspect

Now lets begin with the Theoretical aspect, this involves the reading part of physics, here also contains the laws and principles stated by Physicist. This area of Physics requires a retentive memory and also your ability to memorise things, because these laws and principles where stated in a specific way, any alteration of words will make you go astray. So in any exams make sure you memorise laws and theories the way they are and don't try to change or put in your own words.

Now lets talk about the practical aspect..... to continue reading visit www.scienceteachinglair..com
