Fentanyl:May that day come soon. These cars practically redefine the concept of (auto) mobility! |
searchng4love:You missed the happy ending:'... and becoming well better at the end. So great it became that the S Klasse needed to relearn the art of being good again ' |
HeavenlyBang:These cars are solid, ride like a dream and importantly, are super reliable. My only quarrel with the SC is its size. I'm a family man and importantly, I appreciate space. Lots of it. |
Fentanyl:Noted. Will bookmark. Thanks. |
Lexusgs430:This is interesting... for a car that appears super complex, I never imagined it could be easy to maintain in like manner. Thanks again. |

Same engine and undoubtedly, an awesome car, the SC. Is this for sale? |
Lexusgs430:This is SWEET to know. I'm already a MAJOR SHAREHOLDER at ALL the gas stations around me, so this isn't a problem. The pump attendants know me and I know them. First name things ![]() My only fears are parts availability and technical know-how: two things you just assured me can be sourced locally in a free manner. I appreciate your inputs. |
searchng4love:For a car that redefined power, luxury, performance and importantly reliability, becoming the benchmark for even the Germans, I believe my focus is not misplaced ![]() |
Marpol:I prefer local, right on Nigerian soil. Any chance? |
Lexusgs430:I see - and thanks for this insight. Besides the fact that the parts cost an arm and a leg, were they readily available? What about technical know how? Anything else you think an aspiring owner of this vehicle type should know? Thanks again. |
Marpol:The hypocrisy of the average Nigerian is first class. That na both their problem and their way ![]() About the car: have you seen any for sale (toks) in recent times? |
Lexusgs430:These cars, like all things good, need money. That, na their way. I'm more concerned about parts availability and technical know-how to keep the beast on the road for a long time. Any input as to this? Aside: do you use the GS430? |
nurey:I go appreciate link to the moto or connect, Nurey. As for price, we go always negotiate reach agreement ![]() You get experience with the moto? |
Marpol:That's the attraction! Almost 300HP and more than 300 pound ft of torque all available at a relatively low RPM. This is raw, pure undiluted driving pleasure ![]() Marpol, what's your experience with this diamond? |
HeavenlyBang:My sentiments exactly, HeavenlyBang. Do you have personal experience with this rare gem in Nigeria? Can the car be easily sourced here? |
I have a special interest in cars - especially those that have a history and personality that often precede them. Expectedly thus, the Landcruiser, the W124 chassis and the LS are naturally my all time favorites. I've always had a W124 around me and recently, I've been thinking a lot about the LS - the 430 to be precise (the Landcruiser will be looked at in the nearest future) Now, my challenge is this: 1. Without a shadow of doubt, the LS is the very best sedan mankind has ever made... and the 430 represents its apex. Why then is the car super scarce on Nigerian roads? 2. Being rare, I've not had the privilege of discussing with actual owners here in Nigeria. If you own this gem (or had it in the past), I'll love to hear your experience. 3. I'm also in the market for one, subject to the outcome of my research. If you're a car dealer and have got a clean 2004-2006 (non Ultra Luxury trim), I'll love to take a look. Let's discuss luxury, comfort and power in its purest form |
