Kidney stones occur when minerals and salts, most commonly calcium oxalate, crystallize in the kidneys and create hard deposits. Although they form in the kidneys, kidney stones can affect any part of the urinary tract. Kidney stones are also called calculi or urolithiasis. Apple cider vinegar, Celery juice or seed, Wheatgrass juice, Pomegranate juice, Extra-virgin olive oil is a thick, rich oil that may help ease the passage of kidney stones by lubricating the urinary tract. A 5-oz glass first thing in the morning and late in the afternoon, ideally at the same time as other herbal or home remedies, may reduce pain and discomfort. Westmorland: |
Sneezes are very powerful, they could travel at a speed of 100 mph, that could rupture a blood vessel in your brain, perforate ur ear drum or even cause air to be trapped in your chest or between ur lungs if held in. When you feel like sneezing, SNEEZE OUT! Make it a habit to turn the other way and sneeze out, don't try to sneeze in, it's dangerous. It has nothing to do with being an Ajebutter or Ajekpako. Allow your system release the viruses in your system. Sneezing could be a sign that you are feeling sick and needs to act. Credit/Source: @trending_medic |

You could of gotten it several different ways , 1. Staph can live on our skin and a simple thing such as scratching can break the skin allowing staph to enter our body. 2. You may get staph from an infected person or a carrier who may not have washed their hands even by cooking food with unclean hands. 3. Also from a hospital in which you may or may not had a procedure. 4. You can also be infected by contact from a person with staph. 5. also you may be infected by eating food cooked by unclean hands and or touching things that have been touched by an infected person or a carrier. 6. Staph can live in your nose I believe 25% of us have staph in our nose percentage may be higher or lower it would be hard to determine accurate percentage. 7. You can develop staph from receiving a shot. 8. Food poisoning can cause staph. I believe there are other instances as well. This is a mean, nasty, relentless infection, I know I have had it so I'm speaking from experience! If you see or feel any of these warning signs or even some that aren't listed please get an examination. I had it for a long time and it was the worst thing I've ever had. I was misdiagnosed several times giving this nasty infection time to do more and more damage some that will last. So please go get checked even if you don't have all the symptoms if it doesn't seem right it probably isn't and if you do not feel that what your doctor has told you remember you know your body better than anyone if you feel its just not right then please go and get another's opinion! I may have some things wrong these are things I have learned and the reason I studied this awful besides the fact that it can be fatal also the fact that numerous health care professionals had a hard time diagnosing it aside from all of that, how It made me feel was a definite indication of how serious staph can be. I've been through a lot of different illnesses but this is at the top of my list.. it is painful to me almost debilitating it is just unbelievable as to what it can cause. So yes I had to become familiar with the infection so I wont ever let it get so far again. |

Many of the creams, pills, and shampoos contain harmful chemicals and cause unpleasant side effects. There many home remedies that are natural and equally as effective as chemical treatments. Yogurt The fungus that causes tinea versicolor is yeast-related. Applying yogurt to the patches on the skin helps to neutralize the yeast. Unflavored, natural fresh yogurt is recommended for applying to the patches. You can also eat yogurt to help fight the yeast internally. While this treatment may take a long amount of time, it is a permanent way of treating the fungus. Vinegar Using vinegar that contains garlic and oregano is another useful treatment of the fungus. All 3 of these ingredients have powerful antifungal properties. Simply dip a cotton ball or washcloth in the vinegar and gently rub it on the affected areas of the skin. This process must be done daily and may take several months but has been shown to return the skin pigment to normal in many individuals. Tea Tree Oil Tea tree oil naturally dries up excess oil on the skin and has antifungal properties. Apply the tea tree oil to the spots or patches using a cotton ball or washcloth. Be sure to dap the tea tree oil around the outside of the skin surrounding the spots. Cut a piece of gauze and tape it to the spot with medical tape. Allow the tea tree oil to soak into the skin for at least 1 hour before removing the gauze. Tea tree oil can stain clothing so be sure to remove the oil using a cotton ball dipped in alcohol or by taking a shower. Turmeric Paste Once of the most popular natural remedies is making a paste using turmeric powder, clarified butter, and sandalwood powder. Apply the paste to the spots for at least half an hour. Use on a daily basis until the spots no longer appear. Hygiene Showering daily and using a washcloth or sponge to exfoliate the areas will help to remove the flakey, dead cells and reduce the amount of fungus on the skin. Be sure to wash your clothes, towels, and washcloths in hot water to get rid of any fungi that have become attached to the material. Diet Proper nutrition can stimulate the immune system and help to rid the body of the fungus. Drinking plenty of water daily can also flush the system of toxins that can damage the immune system. A diet high in vitamins C, E, B complex, and A help to give your immune system a healthy boost. These can be found in citrus fruits, whole wheat, and many raw fruits and vegetables. Reduce the amount of carbohydrates in your diet as carbohydrates can help to stimulate yeast production. Instead, try eating foods with probiotics such as yogurt, sweet potatoes, fresh garlic, coconut, and raw pumpkin seeds. Drinking clove tea, kifer, or water mixed with a little lemon juice and apple cider vinegar all help to rid the body of excess yeast. Supplements Acidophilus Acidophilus is in supplement form contains live beneficial bacteria that help maintain a natural balance of yeast within the body. Lactobacillus acidophilus, or L-acidophilus is recommended to take to stabilize yeast levels and help to reduce the presence of tinea versicolor. These supplements can be found at supermarkets, pharmacies, and drug stores. Selenium Selenium is a trace mineral foods, water, and soil. It is a common ingredient in dandruff shampoos, which have shown to be effective in treating tinea versicolor. Taking a selenium supplement daily can help to regulate the body and fight the fungus. Recurrences Tinea versicolor that is pale in color clears more easily than other colors of the fungus. Over time, the area will be able to tan normally. There are some white markings, however, that will remain permanent. There is no scientific evidence explaining the cause of this phenomenon. Spots that are pink or brown in color are more likely to reoccur. Antifungal treatments should be repeated to decrease reoccurrence. EzeIgboNwaChukwu: |

Home Remedies for Swollen Ankles, Legs, and Feet There are many effective home remedies to reduce swelling in your ankles, legs, and feet. These natural methods can help to relieve occasional bouts of leg swelling and give you welcome relief from the discomfort that ankle edema causes. Please remember, that if you have any chronic leg swelling or you have swelling in only one leg that is accompanied with pain, you should see your doctor for proper medical advice. 1. Exercise Regular physical exercise is a great way to stimulate your blood circulation and stop fluid retention in your legs and ankles. For example, swimming is a great way to take pressure off your feet and, at the same time, boost your circulation. The journal International Archives of Medicine reported that exercising was an efficient way to reduce lower limb edema. This can help reduce ankle swelling if you have a sedentary lifestyle or if your swollen feet and ankles are due to aging. 2. Raise your legs Another effective way to reduce fluid retention in your legs and ankles is to raise your legs above the level of your heart. For example, the journal Angiology reported that raised-leg exercises helped many elderly people reduce the size of their swollen ankles. They exercised for 20 minutes, 3 times a day and results were seen within a 4-week period. One easy way to keep your legs raised for an extended period of time to reduce leg edema is to sleep on your back with a pillow under your ankles. This will help to drain excess fluid that has built up around your ankles and feet. 3. Walk around If you have swollen ankles and feet from standing or sitting for too long, you should get up every so often and walk around. This helps to stimulate your circulation and prevent too much fluid accumulating in your ankles. The International Journal of Vascular Medicine reported that walking helps to reduce the volume of fluid that builds up in the base of the leg. The researchers found that walking for 50 minutes in the afternoon can help reduce edema and leg pain during the day. The results were enhanced by wearing compression socks. Doctors from the Cleveland Clinic also recommend that to prevent fluid retention and ankle swelling you shouldn’t sit or stand in one place for too long without moving. 4. Compression socks Compression stockings can help to reduce foot swelling if you have to sit or stand for long periods of time. In fact, compression socks help also to prevent swollen ankles and feet and can make going about your daily activities much easier. Compression stockings help to get rid of the symptoms of fluid retention in the legs by forcing the blood and excess fluid back up the body.In fact, the journal Dermatologic Surgery published a study showing the effectiveness of compression stockings if you have to sit for long periods of time. It was found that the compression stockings helped to reduce ankle and leg size in the evening and were recommended for people who have to sit or stand for their job. Compression stocking can be useful to prevent leg and ankle swelling if you are pregnant or have to fly a long distance. 5. Foot massage To help reduce ankle and foot swelling while you are pregnant, you can try a relaxing foot massage. Massage therapy is a great way to naturally stimulate circulation and help reduce the signs and symptoms of edema. The International Journal of Nursing Practice reported that foot massage helps to remove a buildup of fluid in the lower-leg area. In the study, women who were pregnant received foot massages for 20 minutes a day for 5 days. This was found to decrease swelling in the legs and ankles naturally. You can do your own foot massage or have someone do it for you. This will not only help get rid of ankle swelling but also help relax you and act as a natural stress reliever. 6. Reduce salt intake If you find that your ankles and legs are swollen, you should reduce your salt intake to prevent accumulation of fluid. Your body needs a little salt for it to function properly, but too much salt can have a detrimental effect on your heart, kidney, and cardiovascular system. Doctors from the American Academy of Family Physicians recommend reducing salt intake if you are getting treated for edema.15 In fact, the Cleveland Clinic says that reducing the amount of salt (sodium) in your diet helps to prevent a buildup of fluid in your legs, heart, and lungs. 7. Stop smoking To keep healthy, it’s important that you stop smoking now. Smoking can cause many health problems that lead to serious diseases like various cancers, heart disease, and lung disease. Quitting smoking will also improve your circulation and prevent hand, leg, and ankle edema. The Journal of the American Medical Association published a study that found that smoking increases the risk of peripheral artery disease (PAD) – a condition that affects blood flow in your body.17 According to the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute, PAD usually affects blood flow to your legs. 8. Soak in Epsom salts Soaking in Epsom salts is a great way to relax and relieve aching muscles in your legs and feet. There is some anecdotal evidence that having a foot bath in Epsom salts could also relieve swelling in your ankles. The British Medical Journal published comments from a retired nurse that used Epsom salt soaks to reduce leg swelling. The nurse reported that it is well-known that Epsom salts are an effective remedy for swollen feet. She used an Epsom salt bath to increase blood circulation and reduce discomfort in swollen legs caused by heart disease. To find out how to make a therapeutic foot bath with Epsom salt, please read my article on the benefits of Epsom salts for your feet. Other Ways to reduce Swollen Ankles, Legs, and Feet 9. Drink plenty of water We are all guilty of often not drinking enough fluids. By drinking water throughout the day, we hydrate our tissues and detox the body. Sodium and caffeine, which contribute to feet inflammation, get diluted if we water ourselves sufficiently. Eight to ten glasses a day should be the norm. So make sure you carry that water bottle with you. For added antioxidant value, squeeze some lemon or lime in or prepare your own flavored water. 10. Consume enough magnesium Often feet inflammation, which can result in painful swelling, is connected to magnesium deficiency. Please read my article about magnesium deficiency in which you will find information about how to identify a magnesium deficiency and how to stay magnesium sufficient. |
Written By Revolva: Bad breath is an embarrassing condition caused by bacteria that breed beneath the surface of the tongue and often the throat area. It is important for you to fix it to prevent mouth odour. i shares 5 ways you can solve and get rid of the issue of bad breath. Hydrate Drinking enough water is one of the simplest steps you can take to curb bad breath. When your mouth doesn't have enough moisture to produce saliva, odour-causing bacteria can develop. Clean your tongue Cleaning your tongue can effectively decrease halitosis-causing compounds. These compounds form on your tongue and in your mouth when bacteria and amino acids combine, releasing an unpleasant smell. So cleaning your tongue regularly is important in fighting bad breath. Fruits and vegetable Eating fibrous fruits and vegetables like apples, bananas, oranges, potatoes among others help moisten the mouth and remove the bacteria in the mouth, thus helping you get rid of mouth odour. Good oral hygiene Good oral care is another important way to deal with bad breath. So, brush your teeth at least twice a day (in the morning when you wake and at night before you sleep). It is very important you don’t neglect to brush your teeth at night because while you sleep little or no saliva is being produced. Use a mouth rinse Use a mouth rinse after every meal. This helps reduce gingivitis and freshens breath. Mouthrinse alone is not an effective remedy but should be used in addition to regular brushing and flossing. Stop or reduce taking alcohol! Excessive alcohol intake makes your breath smell bad angry Go for a liver check; sometimes liver disease can lead to bad smell or mouth odour (google "Fetor hepaticus) Don't brush before eating, brush after eating Bad kidney or kidney disease can also cause bad breath |
NATURAL ULCER TREATMENT In times of fasting and prayer, this is ulcer treatment you can rely on. Gotten from benedictine monks at Ewu Ishan in Edo state, Nigeria. 1. - Get raw pawpaw and wash it. (It must be raw, not ripe) 2. - Do not peel it and do not remove the seeds. 3. - After washing the outside neatly, slice it without peeling it into small small pieces. The cutting should be small like sugar cubes. 4. - Put all the small pieces of the raw pawpaw into any clean container. Fill the container with water to stop at the same point the sliced pawpaw stopped. 5. - Leave the pawpaw in the water for four days. For example if u soak it on a Monday, I count Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday will be the fourth day. On the Fourth day, the water will be looking white in colour. Seive it and throw away the pawpaw and the water becomes your cure for ulcer. DOSAGE: Drink half a glass of the pawpaw water every morning, afternoon and evening. You will no longer feel those ulcer pains because it will heal the wounds inside that are causing the pain. This morning, afternoon and evening drinking of the pawpaw water can continue for weeks and months depending on how severe the ulcer is. It is not relief. It is a cure. Additional note: an ulcer is an internal wound usually in the stomach or intestines. Causes. Common causes of ulcer are infection with the bacterium Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) and long-term use of aspirin and certain other painkillers, such as ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin, others) and naproxen sodium (Aleve, Anaprox, others). Stress and spicy foods do not cause peptic ulcers. However, they can make your symptoms worse. Note: Please avoid taking strong pain killers without prescription. If you take time to read the side effects you will see that the drugs for pain relief cause ulcer or wounds in the body. This treatment mentioned is not a reason not to go to hospital, because not all internal pains are ulcers. Let someone know and help someone get cured today. It is tested and trusted! Profound gratitude to St Augustine Catholic Parish, Nasarawa State Polytechnic, Lafia, for their aid. |
