Pls boss, do anybody have any idea about the amount they get paid as gratuity when they retire?

It's over worth it. Though it depends on your level and with time, as you get promoted, your salary will also Increase. Free housing all through your service and as a young chap you might retire earning up to a million with which your gratuity and pension will be worked. Most importantly, the job is secured and pension is constant. My dad received his pensions till his dyiing days without hitches.


Don't look at the now. Look at the future. You may also need to run some courses to speed up your promotion and get you up there in a short time. My dad did a lot of courses those days and it really helped him Climbed up fast in Rank.

fed fire service ,immigration ,civil defence and prison are under the same ministry and there salaries is just #1000 naira difference. Prison starting is 115,000 after 6months 120,000.

What's the name of the ministry??
And you mean that 115,000 is at starting point
