SANCTUARY SHERIFF RELEASED ILLEGAL ALIEN WHO DECAPITATED MAN, DESPITE ICE HOLD November 7, 2019 by Dave Gibson MECKLENBURG COUNTY, NC (WBTV) – U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials say they arrested an unlawfully present Mexican national on Friday, a week after he was released from criminal custody in Mecklenburg County.
ICE officials say they arrested Jose Barajas-Diaz during a targeted enforcement action on Nov. 1, one week after the Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office refused to honor an ICE detainer, and instead released Barajas-Diaz from local criminal custody.
According to ICE officials, Barajas-Diaz was convicted of felony death by motor vehicle in a car crash where he was arrested for DWI.
Barajas-Diaz was initially arrested Jan. 29, 2019, by the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department (CMPD) for driving while impaired and felony death by motor vehicle.
ICE officials say they lodged an immigration detainer against him with Mecklenburg County the following day. Along with the detainer form, ICE officials say they provided the county with an administrative arrest warrant.

Six: ...Few months ago…Trump attacked and unleashed a series of racist criticisms against four democrats freshmen Representatives Ilhan Omar, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ayanna Pressley and Rashida Tlaib, all women of color, saying they should “go back” to where they came from, despite the fact that three of the congresswomen were born in the U.S. and all four are American citizens…for folks who have lived or are living in the US…to hear the words, “go back’ to where you come from”…isn't appropriate..and this is coming from the POTUS P45...now let's bring this home to Nigeria...how will a citizen of the Federal Republic of Nigeria from the South feel if one of the Northern states governor asked people of Southern Origin to leave his Northern state...to 'go back' to where they come from...do you think the Nigerian press will applaud such a governor?...
