gunners160:Hahaha.. Abeg no go. Dey your house. Now it's 15hrs 10mins 21secs |
15 hours.. 24 minutes to printing of call up letter.. How time flies? |
doteezy1:You might be lucky |
sodson11:Hi, please how can I renew my 1and1 package for domain name. Have you renewed yours before? Do they accept Nigerian cards? |
5 days to go |
Taiye4Christ, I didn't know you were hunting for jobs too with the way you share job opportunities on a daily basis. That's highly commendable. |
greatKCforever:My brother, let's be realistic, who resume don epp? You get a "perfect" resume, you are invited for tests and interviews.. You do well in all.. still you don't get the job.. how resume take epp? |
sirusX:My brother, it has made no difference whatsoever. Rather, it further enslaves our Corpers as job seekers rather than job creators. Do you know how far a scientific, medical or agricultural breakthrough in Nigeria can go in creating jobs? Sometimes, I don't know whether this country cares at all about the youths. |
toogbasky:hahaha..no be only ocean & stream.. river and lake join o My brother na jonzing |
Okay, good one from TFN. But why are most graduates being pushed towards teaching roles? I feel that the mandatory one year program should enable Corpers serve in other fields like agriculture, manufacturing, engineering, ICT etc which can greatly contribute to the development of our country. There are numerous other productive ways that talented Corpers can serve. But it appears that teaching is the most likely role for majority of them. Why? We all focus on teaching the same thing we were thought and very few are encouraged to serve in the field they studied in school. What's the point then? You study a very practical course and you come to school to teach and probably become a teacher who never has an opportunity to practice anything you've been teaching your students. Nigeria don't need more teachers. We have more than enough jobless people already trooping out of school without any job. Not all these people need to go and teach again. Nigeria needs drivers of the economy. We need productive people who can break new grounds in the fields of science, technology, medicine, engineering, agriculture etc. Let our govt tap into the full potential of our youth Corpers and at least post them to where they can be more useful than just teaching. Teaching is a nice profession, but not everyone is meant to be a teacher. This posting of most Corpers to schools is not helping us at all. Post Corpers to where they can practice and utilise their talents productively. It will help Nigeria go a long way. #FromAconcernedPCM |
itzwizzle:If money dey, I 4 don book am tey tey o. |
habbyy03:hahaha |

Regret mail.. Well, we give thanks! It's all for good. |
Hopeyem12:interested.. still available? |
Well, the best thing is to forget that we applied for anything like this. If we finally get mail, fine. If we don't(which I doubt), not very fine. But in all things, we give thanks to the one who knows all. I'm signing off officially until I get mail. Bye! |
May 8th.. Any news? |
May 6th.. We are still praying and waiting. |
Unilever should consider nairalanders o. It won't make sense if they allow us to all go like that. |
alex20009 calm down |
Emaimo:lol.. Ok |
Gpeculiar:My dear, we plenty! |
eseh1:Same here pretty, same here. I wish us well. |
Hi guys, Those who got regret mail should try and apply for McKinsey and Company Young Leaders program. I have a feeling it might be for someone here. It's not for me, it might be for you. Give it a try. I think it's a wonderful alternative to UFLP . Check the link below: http://www.mckinsey.com/careers/search-jobs/jobs/young-leaders-programme-fellow-lagos-7429 cc: Emaimo, Viviansteph |
My heart goes out to all those who got regret mails today especially Viviansteph. I really wanted to meet her on assessment day. I wish you all the best in your future endeavors. Don't relent. Don't give up the fighting spirit. Greater things await you all if you keep on trying. God knows best. I wonder how many of us who have been following this thread that are still left. I know Eseh1, Viburnum, Jazmiynne, GPeculiar, Sunnystooth .. I don't really know the rest. If you've gotten feedback from the video interview and you've not gotten any other mails success or regret after then, please indicate, let's know how many we are left. And if you are reading or following the thread, kindly let us know if you get a success mail. We need at least one good news here on nairaland na. At least let one person cheer us up with success mail. Because me self, I'm a lil scared with all these regret mails flying around. God help the rest of us. From a concerned applicant. |
highly commendable.

I wish you all the best in your future endeavors. Don't relent. Don't give up the fighting spirit. Greater things await you all if you keep on trying. God knows best.
