Even my friend who got the excellent evidence feedback also got a regret mail. Best wishes to those still awaiting mail. Time to move on. See ya all on top. Regret mail on the first day of the month? That's quite sad. Please move on.. there may be other better opportunities for you out there. Happy New month by the way. Don't let it bother you. By the way 'excellent' evidence seems to be a problem now. I hope not for everyone though. Thanks for the good wishes to the rest of us awaiting success mail. Deadline's over. Sunnystooth: Actually, it could take days or weeks after the deadline before we get feedback... Because people that would apply on the last day may still be given that seven days period to take the tests for the different stages of the recruitment process.
So it's probably gonna be a looong wait.
That's if at all we don't get regret mail any time soon. Ah.. don't say it will take weeks o. People like Viviansteph and Viburnum would lose their tempers, go to Unilever Head Office to know what's up and find out why the company wants to give them high blood pressure. |

I just needed to provide evidence to proof the rationale joke was too shallow? Abi your understanding too shallow? Park well o. Jazmiynne biscuit abi wetin . |

I'm not being aggressive about it o. But the fact that we are all expectant about a success mail from our video interview doesn't mean that we make attempts to write off other candidates who didn't have the same feedback as ours.
Not getting excellent evidence doesn't make you any less qualified for the next stage. Truth is: we don't know how or on what criteria Unilever will make their selections. Let's not try to bring other people down or make them look less than ourselves simply because we think we are better than them based on a feedback that may even be useless.
The feedback was even meant to be confidential in the first place and we were not expected to share it publicly. You think Unilever is not aware of this Nairaland thread? Of all Nigerian sites? Some of you may even have been disqualified just by sharing your feedback here.
How will they track you? Well, I dunno. Who are the guests viewing the thread?
Whole point is: We don't know for sure the criteria for selection. Even if you had "poor" or "pass" evidence... just keep your faith alive. It may still be you. So don't lose hope and don't be too anxious. Pray, hope and have faith. |
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Unilever Future Leaders Programme 2017 by LuckyWinner(m): 4:36pm On Apr 26, 2017 |
Viburnum: If I understand you correctly, those with other types of evidence (competent, good e.t.c) have no chance if "excellent evidence" is the best response in comparison to the predefined answer sets... So since the competition has become "intense", why then would any other type of evidence be considered if it is not excellent
Just trying to make sense of the quoted.. Will appreciate it if you follow my trend of thought and help me understand.. Thanks in advance... Stay there and be wishing yourself bad luck. So you think that because you had excellent evidence, other type of evidence shouldn't be considered? Unilever is looking for key things beyond excellent. Anyone who had seen the questions beforehand can easily get excellent evidence. I believe there is more to this interview... so stop wishing those who got another type of evidence apart from 'excellent' bad luck. Please, to all those indicted... stay hopeful and keep praying. Excellent ko.. excellent ni |

jmenex: please can someone explain the idea of checking the first mail received after application for some of us that haven't gotten feedback after taking the game. Find the first email sent to you by Unilever after you applied for this. You will see a line where it says that you can check the status of your application anytime "here" .... The "here" is a link through which you can still log in to Unilever careers and check application status. You'll see all your 4 emails there and status of application. |

viviansteph: But you had 'you can further improve on... or you needed to think about ways to.... lol.. fear fear.. I had it. I don't know if there is anyone who doesn't have it. No applicant dey perfect abeg. We're recent grads with little experience at most 1 or 2 years, if we don't have any improvement areas at this level, then.. we are already managers and have no need for the Future Leaders Program. That's the essence of the program in the first place; to train and improve us, so we can manage and take up important roles in Unilever. Perfect applicants should apply for a job at Unilever, rather than a trainee program like this. So, areas of improvement, "you may want to think about.." or "you could further improve..." are perfectly okay for us. |

Sunnystooth: Lmao... Like I said, I'm just wondering and thinking out loud. How else would someone explain that. Anyway, it's high time I sat this one out and wait on Unilever's feedback. Okay o. Well.. "however" and "positive evidence" are not in my mail. I'm still safe based on your theory. Now we've debunked the theory that excellent evidence means "success" as one of the excellent feedback also got a regret mail. I guess your theory may be valid. By the way, an introduction.. I created this nairaland account about a week ago. I've been observing this group via guest mode. Took pains to go to a very quiet place to do this video interview. I had to leave my street cos it's Quite noisy. So, it's been two weeks and nothing else after feedback. Had to join you guys here and say something. Nice to meet you guys. Hello to the girls and guys. |

Pheew! So for your mind, anyone who has "however" or "some positive evidence" should be expecting regret mail? Hmm |

joekes: Thank you for applying to Unilever and for taking part in Level 3 - the video interview. We welcomed the opportunity to get to know you better. We hope you find your feedback report useful. You can utilize it to familiarize yourself with your strengths and development areas and to make improvements for the future. Unfortunately, after careful consideration, we will not be progressing your application on this occasion. We are sorry not to be able to give you more positive news, but we received a large number of responses for the positions available and competition has therefore been intense. We would encourage you to continue to follow other career opportunities at Unilever and apply for different positions. If you would like to apply for our Programme again, please do so in 12 months time. We would like to thank you for the interest you have shown in Unilever and wish you every success in your future career. Seriously? I wish you well in your other endeavors. But I'm surprised because I've speculated that the excellent feedback was the best and you guys would be considered first. If excellent got regret mail.. what hope does good or competent evidence have? Guys, let's just be patient and keep believing. One thing is sure: we will soon get a response from Unilever. #FingersCrossed |
