justwise:

That is not true at all, all applications are processed before been refused or issued a visa. You may be refused a visa after 20days or given after the same period of time.
ikcbn:

Donxavier:

Well, we don't really know how the embassy does these things but the consensus from an earlier debate on this issue was that the UKBA can only confirm the authenticity of the bank statement provided or your current bank balance.

So that's why it"s safer to keep the required money till the Visa comes. if you could wait patiently for 28 days, then why not another 3 weeks ? Why shoot yourself in the foot

As it stands, the only way your friend can scale through if they check only the authenticity of the bank statement provided. if they check the current balance, he"d be refused the visa.

So since you haven't yet applied, I suggest he returns the money and keeps the required balance till his Visa comes out. That's the surest way.
Thanks Donxavier, hmmmmm ... He already submitted on the 10th of august. I pray it comes out successful

hello, i am new up here.. i have been reading all your post and i appreciate people like you guys helping out and making it easier for others through the application process. I helped a friend arrange his documents with the help of what i read here everyday. A quick question, he has everything he needs to apply, including the CAS, FUNDS and other supporting document but my fear is, he withdrew the fund from the account the day he printed out the statement and transfered it to another account, though the money is still available to him when ever he needs it but i think it contradicts the ukba policy of fund remaining in the document provided. do you think the embassy would confirm if the fund remains there or not. just want to know to ease his tension as i am his guide on this and i need to make him feel better... thanks....
