After waiting for close to seven months and providing all the required documents, this Brazilian embassy people finally responded with Passport pickup. I checked the status portal and it is showing not approved. This people are really crazy.

This is my current situation since August.

We have uploaded flight itinery twice. November and January They requested for the minor authorization and consent in January 8 Because it was not initially submitted. We couriered it back immediately. And we are still waiting.

Same here. We did the MOFA notarization thing December for my child too. It’s disheartening but what choice does a third world country has?

My wife applied since July, and we only got email to send updated ticket and hotel reservations in November.
How can we cancel the application so we can get the passport back? Its been over 6 months

the reason I did not attach my flight reservation was that most of the websites were asking for complete payment and it is not refundable but i attached my hotel reservation

Speak to all these travel agencies and you’d be able to get the flight reservation at a very cheap rate

It’s one year multiply entry visa.

Must he travel immediately or wait for sometime before Traveling ?

From my experience with multiple entry visas, you can go in anytime you want within that time frame

I would say be patient a bit. When last did you receive an email from them?

We got an email to provide the updated travel itinerary two different times.

Thank you. Yes, we rescheduled for early January. When my husband and I did our own almost two years ago, it took about five months for us to get our visa and we rescheduled once, so it seems not much has changed.

Thanks a lot. I did our reschedule (our second) for like the 3rd week of December so hopefully we hear from them.

Humm, Me I would kukuma carry my two legs and go to their embassy or they should just return your passport and you can try again.

We are yet to receive visa from them Oma! We have just been receiving emails to update some of our forms. My wife just received another email 2 days ago requesting she submit our manual forms and updated flight/hotel reservation.

So I guess they are working on it 😣😣😣. Our journey has been since August ending though.

When you mailed them, did you provide them with your protocol number and other reference IDs to your application?

Brazil visa is now hard to get, know this and know peace. Even agents will tell you same. I live here so at least I know from the experiences of people who have managed to enter Brazil in the last few months. Don't let anybody you don't know personally deceive you into paying for a visa that is not guaranteed, that is not to say you shouldn't use an agent but make sure you do your due diligence.

The application was filed last month
They’re giving people visa and about 3 people I know got theirs through agent.
The last agent that assisted them have four slots only and the entire 4 were given visa yesterday.

This is sad 😔

If this is the route they want to adopt, please help us with Agent links that one can start reviewing if you have access to such information.

A friend of mine paid agent last month for a Brazil visa and he got his visa yesterday.

Hello Guys,
I just got a message from DHL this afternoon that my application is being returned. No prior mails from the embassy to request any update or documents. Straight Denial and This is like a Renewal of Visa, this is not my first time of applying. Also I was in Brazil early this year.

I have sent them an email for explanation.
Calmly waiting for their response.

I just got an email from the Consular again to submit manual forms. It seems they are really treating the applications now.

The update I got from them this afternoon started by addressing me with someone’s name on the email I used for my application. Secondly, requesting me to send the followings as a soft copy by responding to the email and in original and only via courier.
1. New Flight reservation
2. New Hotel Reservation
3. Bank Statement from July to October

Note: first email I’m getting from them after submission since June.

Who else have encountered such a thing?

I got the same email on the 29th of last month and sent them as requested. We still dey wait for next steps till now 🙏🙏

Honestly, I am tired at this point too.. because why the unsolicited emails? Does it mean I missed something or what in my application?

Yes it is under review and it was submitted by Aug 27th ish. So i go an updated email to resend BS and travel itenary which I did yesterday. So sometime around Nov is the new intended travel date.

Hello everyone! Just got a mail this morning after weeks of application that I should send my documents.

Had to come mention it here so everyone can check their mail especially those who already submitted documents as they may have reponded to them too.
