No be jujube be that, road dey to America na him everybody never Japa? BenuePolitician: Nigerian Benue Born long-distance cyclist Emmanuel Myam, popularly known as Emmiwuks, has successfully arrived in Liberia as part of his ambitious adventure to reach the United States by bicycle.
The determined cyclist crossed into Liberia on Saturday, marking day 55 of his journey since leaving Lagos nearly two months ago. His bicycle, which he fondly calls Little Eagle, has so far carried him across the Republic of Benin, Togo, Ghana, and Côte d’Ivoire before reaching the Liberian border.
Sharing his excitement on his verified social media platforms, Emmiwuks expressed heartfelt gratitude for the support he has received along the way. He wrote: “I’ve just arrived at the Liberian border, and my heart is overflowing with gratitude. From Nigeria through Côte d’Ivoire, every pedal, every drop of sweat, every smile from strangers, every prayer you whispered for me has carried me here.
“I’ve officially set foot in Liberia, and the feeling is indescribable. From the dusty roads to the endless forests, from the border checks to the countless prayers, you all have been with me every single kilometer of the way” .This journey is bigger than one man on a bicycle. It’s a reminder that Africa is connected, that dreams have no borders, and that with courage and faith, we can go farther than anyone ever imagined.
“Liberia, thank you for welcoming me. The road ahead is still long, but we ride on with hope, strength, and unity.” He wrote.
Emmiwuks emphasized that his mission goes beyond personal adventure. According to him, the cycling tour is aimed at raising awareness about the plight of thousands of children displaced by conflicts across Africa, as well as other vulnerable groups.
His journey continues as he pedals forward, determined to cover more African countries before eventually reaching his final destination in the United States.
