Bro, i am a south-south awardee and i have been in constant communication with many awardees here. Nothing so far o. Skye bank is as dry as dessert. They said they are waiting for mandate. Any different news?

My dear friend, sorry to disappoint you but there is no single awardee who will be able to borrow you money. I can imagine trying to explain to my monitor that i lent someone money from my grant

My dear friend, sorry to disappoint you but there is no single awardee who will be able to borrow you money. I can imagine trying to explain to my monitor that i lent someone money from my grant- my own don finish that day. lol. it is clearly stated ievery awardees contract that no part of funds or the business itself should be transferred to a third party. doing so will discontinue your grant immediately.

atleast you are better than those who didnt believe and did not bother to apply at all. We pray that by some stroke of fate, the YouWin4 program may continue under Buhari's regime. But it can only be with prayers right now. NOJ has recommended its continuity to GMB so lets see how that goes.

i find it a fault in human nature to entertain fear instead of faith.

That being said, i discovered that most awardees tend to listen to hear-say and rumors instead of getting official information. Barely 1 in 20 awardees have made us of the youwin3 email address for enquiries. most prefer to listen to rumors and hearsay from everyone else except the official sources of information.

So before you start thinking too far, gossiping, wondering, pondering and giving yourselves sleepless nights about simple issues, please try and contact the regulatory authorities.

e.g last week i called a fellow awardee to find out what he heard about the tranche. He said "o boy i don forget youwin oo. abi dont u knpw that there is no money in the country!?". i found it ridiculous because he did not have an official statement from youwin he was going by. On thesame day i prudently called my SMEDAN monitor who simply told me that "youwin will pay all our money, wether it is GEJ in power or buhari or even colonial rule. any awardee who is worrying is just idle."

i wasnt surprised when within thesame week istarted hearing that IBTC was paying 2nd tranche.

so please, let us not entertain fears, worries, doubts, uncertainties etc. be prudent with information, be careful what you hear and what you say.

I am Barrister Esan Teniola, Delta Sate awardee with M&E ID No 1******5. I am very much in support of this forum, although i have been a silent member. Largely because i have always found it difficult to post messages here. Anyway, i just wish to make a few comments which i feel will be relevant to the house.

As awardees please keep in mind that we have been given a once in a lifetime opportunity and we should always be grateful for that. The YouWin program is the first of its kind IN THE WORLD and we are among the fortunate 3000 that are beneficiaries. It is the crowning of our efforts with Gods grace that has brought us here. Many heard about youwin and did not beleive it was legitimate, many ignored it, many did not follow it up. many dropped out at various stages, even up to the third stage interview. Worst off is that even a few who got first tranche may not be in position to recieve second tranche due to misnamagement. So truly many were called but few are chosen. We are the chosen,but we must prove ourselves worthy of that choosing.

2. We are not millionaires yet. @oceanwhale4u. It is our generated income that will confer us with that status. it is when we have paid our staff and paid ourselves and our creditors and you still have one million naira net profit that you become a millionaire. Otherwise you will soon discover that there is no amount of money that cannot dissappear over time.

please be prudent, and be wise. Money makes a man think himself greater than he is. Makes the right decisions. The true test is for us all to be better off after the grant than during it.
