MadCow1: I say he has failed..
He is the first democratic President to do 6 years in a single term. Under him, corruption has grown (1 which I witnessed personally.. Don't ask), he has failed to clamp down on corruption in any way shape or form. The insecurity currently plaguing the nation is the most disturbing. Many Nigerians have been desensitized of just how bad the insecurity is because it's mostly happening up North, but wether we like to agree or not, he has the responsibility to protect lives nationwide. Just last week another community was wiped out by terrorists and he still has done nothing about it rather he is playing politics with the deaths of these NIGERIANS. The issue of the militancy is yet another failure of his government. We keep shoveling billions of Naira towards paying amnesty to criminals with no end in sight. Our economy as you know is in the gutters. As we speak, oil prices have dropped even further to 45 dollars per barrel and even worse, we have no buyers for Nigerias oil. Over 35 million barrel of Nigerias oil has no buyers. This year would witness a shitload of job losses in the oil and gas industry. And due to his failure to diversify our economy, we are in for a really tough year. Billions have gone missing under his adminstration with nobody held accountable. Polities of many states have been distabilized by people loyal to him and in some cases people sponsored by himself and his power grabbing wife. He promised to fix electricity and till date our power sector is still far from fixed. Even with the unbundling of PHCN and the sale of PHCN assets, it's still difficult for average NIGERIANS to get the pre-paid meters and many NIGERIANS are paying through their noses for power they don't even get via estimated billing. He has had several opportunities to make example of corrupt politicians like Farouk Lawan, Diezani madueke, Stella Oduah, the subsidy thieves, the police pension thieves, the civil service pension thieves, the immigrations recruitment thieves that led to the death of over 50 graduates in that sham employment saga, etc and yet not a single person has seen the insides of a court. Nigeria has failed to fix its refineries with the monies we were making under him when oil prices were as high as 130 dollars a barrel, now we are at 45 dollars, that means less money in the polity and thus less works can be done. He has also failed to reduce governments recurrent expenditure but has rather depleted our foreign reserves and things have depreciated to the point that fuel is now 97 Naira per liter from 65 and the Naira now exchanges for 185 Naira to a dollar as against 155 previously.
I can't hate Jonathan, it's not in me to hate. But the fact of the matter is that we are worse off after 6 years under him.
I will not preach Buhari as a savior, but he is a change. Like your profile picture aptly put it, you can't keep doing the same old thing and expect new results. It's time we the electorates take our destiny into our own hands. If Buhari fails to deliver after 4 years, we can also change him. I feel like the PDP has had 16 years to make a change and have been slow at it, let's try another party. The only constant in life is change and I think we are long overdue for one.
Sorry for the long epistle but the problems we currently face as a nation can't be put in a single sentence.
This is why I advocate change. Thanks a lot for clarifying me but I will still ask you to recheck again. You have to understand that nobody is perfect but we all work towards perfection, Jonathan to you and many others may not be seen as the Messiah we need but I am here to tell you that he has set so many things on ground though it may be slow but I know that one day you will remember this. You also know that it is easier to destroy than to build.Let's join hands and build this nation and fight corruption starting from our homes cause it begins with you and I. Thanks. |

Yet he went back on his words. PDP knows that GEJ is the only one that can match Buhari's calumny that was why he was foisted without any contenders.

PUSH1: igbos are not good in politics. Their politics is always based on religions and ethnic sentiments. We all know that Gej is not an Igbo man they way I am. if we keep embracing cluelessness, we will forever be regarded as the minority just as gej is. Can gej ever campaign for an Igbo man for presidency and he will be taken seriously? NO! The people who are supporters of gej are just doing it based on sentiments and selfish reasons. That is why I encourage what Owelle is doing. He is a man of vision and he knows the politics of this country. It is high time the igbos wake up to reality. Are you kidding me? Why dem know use your owelle who understands politics well as buhari's running mate? be deceiving yourself |
Politics › Re: Please Circulate Until It Gets To The Remotest Voter In Nigeria!!!! by lyntiffany(f): 4:40pm On Jan 15, 2015 |
The APC, has been consistent in saying that the PDP has ruled Nigeria for 16 years in which corruption, impunity, insurgency has become the order of the day. But taking a look at the composition of those APC members that are more vocal with regards to the ills in the society, we have the likes of… 1. Rotimi Amaechi - 8 years as Speaker, 7 year as Governor under PDP. 2. Atiku Abubakar - 8 years as Vice president under PDP. 3. George Akume – 8 years Governor under PDP 4. Bukola Saraki - 8. years as Governor, 2 years as Senator under PDP 5. Timipre Sylver - 4 years Governor under PDP 6. Audu Ogbe - 2 years Chairman of the PDP 7. Aminu Masari - 4 years as the Speaker, House of Representatives under PDP 8. Chris Ngige - 3 years Governor under PDP, 4yrs as Senator. 9. Rabiu Kwankwaso- 7 years as Governor, 3 years as Defense minister under PDP. 10. El Rufai - 4 years FCT Minister; 2 years BPE chairman under PDP. 11. Aminu Tambuwal- 4 Speaker, House of Representatives 12. Baraje- 3yrs PDP national chairman 13. Gemade- 4yrs national chairman 14. Audu Ogbe- 4yrs national chairman 15. Amosun/Ajimobi - 8yrs senators under PDP 16. Ahmed- 4yrs as governor 4yrs under PDP. 17. To mention, but a few… It is an endless list of those that have handled one position or the other with the present government to pilot the affairs of this nation. They cross-carpeted to APC and become a tong in the flesh of the same party they assisted to bastardize this nation’s economy. The question to them all is, what did you do with the allocation that was disbursed to your ministry as a minister, to your state as a state governor from the federal allocation of this nation for the pasted 16 years of PDP? If your ministry is a failed ministry today, it wasn’t the making of Jonathan but you. If your state is a failed state today, it wasn’t the making of Jonathan but you and your local government chairmen. All of you have used the allocations meant to better the lots of the masses under the capacity of your positions held, to your personal aggrandisement and political ambitions, to the detriment of the masses and the degeneration of this nation. As far as I’m concerned, Jonathan has done his bit for not denying any allocation meant for developing this nation, but each and every one of you (cross carpeters) who have served this nation are the problems we have. Now, the nation have been milked dried through PDP and no more loopholes to continue your milking, especially those that have finished their second terms, it is now turn to look for such opportunities under the umbrella of APC to continue your milking, which is the reasons for cross carpeting, which is also the reasons why truth have vanished from your lips, deceiving the masses against a man, Jonathan, that have done enough, irrespective of the situation in Nigeria, grossly caused by most of you for your selfish reasons. As far as truth has vanished from your lips and speaking negative of a man that has given his effort to the better of this nation, sincerely speaking, the same coin with which Jonathan was paid, is the same coin, if not worse than that, each and every one of you will receive whether you like it or not as along as truth have eluded from your lips either as a loser or a gainer of your selfish aims. Thank God the remains of PDP now, are those still believing in PDP ability to refine this country if all hands must be on deck and stand for the truth for this nation to move forward. It is totally clear that APC has become a party created for those who want to continuously milk us more for inhibition. The so-called Amaechi governed River State for 2 tenures; knowing fully well that it was the end of the road as a state governor, he defected to APC looking for opportunities to continue his corrupted practices to milk us more. Can Gov. Amaechi give account of his achievement in River State with the federal allocation given to his state for the past 8yrs? No! he can't. But only seeing Jonathan as a corrupt man.@Op just know that the change you crave for are the old cargo crooks who defected to PDP. |

realborn: If you provide so called schools without sensitizing and orientating the people you have jolly well wasted money. This is a sign of providing basic traditional buildings of education without addressing the underlying root cause and factors affecting the poor attitude to education in some parts of the north. What happened to policies ensuring children go to school? How many pupils have been catered for since the advent of these self help buildings tagged schools? What is the quality of education received at this school?
I will reiterate as I have always said, this government is a sucker for poor standards with emphasis on quantity than quality. This government lacks strategic vision. This is what Nigeria needs not counting of cheap achievements despite plundering trillions of Naira.
It shall be well! Are you alright? No they should wait for gej to spoon feed them as he is equally doing in the SW, SS, SE and the middle belt.He build problem he no build still problem.Just pin point one that buhari built for his community.Insatiable fools. |

The only point I am making is that Jonathan has a similar problem compounded by occasional lack of self control, illogicality, childish exaggeration and really silly things a politician does not say in election period we have heard from him. This will continue as the pressure of campaigning and the poll numbers for Buhari increases he will make really bad FORCED ERRORS which will cost him the elections. Do you wanna bet?. yea I do |
