Nairaland GeneralHow Old Are You? Part(2)..........attitude,character And Choices by maasflan(op): 10:06am On Feb 03, 2016
Hello Readers,
Hope you are doing good?In my last post we discussed Level of Moral Development as one of the factors that determine your real age.
Today we will be talking on Attitude,Character and Choices

Attitude is purely your philosophy of life.
The way you think......
The way you see things
The way you interpret things

Attitude influences an individual choice of action, and response to challenges, incentives and rewards.

There are 4 components of Attitude........

1..Cognitive :Believe or Opinion held consciously about a subject or an issue.e.g All politicians are corrupt or politics is a dirty game are example of Cognitive attitude....Having this kind of opinion means you have a negative attitude.
Point of correction.....All politicians are not corrupt and Politics is not a dirty game,It is how politicians play it that makes it either dirty or clean

2....Affective Attitude is related to impulsive or immediate response one takes to a situation. It is evaluative and led by emotions. e.g Consider Mr X has fear of driving. So whenever he gets to driving, his fear dominates him and he fails in it............... www.olufemimausi..com

Nairaland GeneralHow Old Are You? by maasflan(op): 4:50pm On Feb 02, 2016

Hey.........Don't tell me your age.I am not asking you the number of years you have spent on the surface of the earth. You may be 20,30,40,50 years old ..........Okay we know.
But what is truly your age?........Do you know that?

How do you determine your real age? Well you will discover very soon.....Just read on

Your age is determined by ........

- Your Level of Moral Development
- Your Attitude,Character and Choices
- How you are easily influenced by people and circumstances
-Your Level of Discipline and Emotion Control e.t.c

So...Let us discuss these one by one

1. LEVEL OF MORAL DEVELOPMENT
There are six stages of Development.......the stage you are is one of the factors that determines your real age

Stage 1 is called Punishment Avoidance and Obedience ....

People at this level of development make decisions based on what is best for themselves without regard for others' needs or feelings.
They obey rules made only by powerful individuals.
They may disobey if they are likely not to get caught.

Stage 2 is called Exchange of Favor......

People at this stage of development recognizes that other have needs too.
They are ready to meet others people's need if they will only meet their own needs too."You scratch my back,i will scratch your back"
They define right and wrong in terms of consequences to themselves.

Nairaland GeneralWho Are You ??? by maasflan(op): 1:38pm On Oct 27, 2015
I am sure you know what to say already to that question? Well that answer you want to give is not it.
Often times on the street, especially on the highway when two people(Mr. A & Mr. B) are having an argument. You will always hear this question from one of them.
Mr. A will say .......Do you know who i am?
Then the other person(Mr. B) will respond.....Who are you?
And it goes on and on like that.
The first person(Mr. A) might use his influence, position and connection to deal with the Mr. B.
............Mr. A has just shown Mr. B who he is.
Asking this question .....Who are you?.....
Am not asking of your position, connection or influence.
Am not asking you to tell me
- Your name
- Where you are from
- What you do as a profession
- The schools you attended.

Huuummn.....my question is beyond these. When i ask you.....who are you?
I mean what you are
- Even before you are given that name you bear now
- Before you acquired all the degrees you posses now

Nairaland GeneralLearn The Seven Habits Of The Rich Successful People by maasflan(op): 2:45pm On Oct 26, 2015
Many of us go through our lives, envious of our neighbor's success, not knowing the failures they have experienced and the hard work they put in.
Are they
- Just Luckier than us
- More intelligent than us
- or Born with a silver spoon
Absolutely Not.
Success is not limited by your Race,I.Q Level,Religion or The size of your bank account.....
So what can we do to be successful................Now read this carefully and make sure you practice it and there will be a massive positive change in your life.

1. Read A Lot
Think book nerds are losers, its quite the opposite. The last time i checked, they ruled the world.
Readers of today are leaders of tomorrow.
Think of any leader today,be it Business,Politics,Religion, e.t.c They are all book lovers.
Reading helps you learn form the mistakes and success of others instead of just diving in relying on your guts and motivation to lead you.
So you should try and read at least one hour a day for a start

2.Wake Up Early
Notable early risers include Richard Branson of Virgin Group,Disney C.E.O Robert Iger and Marissa Mayer of Yahoo Inc.Some sleep for only four per day
When you wake up early, you tend to achieve more.
So find a no mercy Alarm Clock that will not stop until you rise up from the bed.

3.Quiet Your Monkey Brain
Don't be a jack working like a machine without any quiet time for your self to think.Great ideas you see today are the product of quiet time.Ideas are also perfectly modified during quiet time.
You need to create time to think and bring out great ideas that will transform your
- Business
-Marriage
-Family
-Carrier e.t.c
So create a time for yourself to think at least two times per week spending one hour for each thinking process.
N.B....Make sure you do this in the midnight when the city is asleep or look for a quiet place if you want to do it during the day.

4.Stop Wasting Time
Time they say is money. If successful people value their own time, why waste your own time on things not important.
Stop wasting your time on social media, watching movies, chatting e.t.c
Dangote bought 8 hrs per day of his employee's time(8am - 4pm) to achieve much for himself,so why waste your own time.

5.Think Big Start Small
Successful people are big thinkers that start small.Rome was not built in a day.Don't try to achieve all within few months.
It takes Dangote 30 yrs before he become the richest man in Africa.
Facebook you see today that is all over the world started in a school hostel.
Google also started from a garage.
Start small and don't despise the days of little beginning.

6.Take Charge Of Your Life
If you want to be an epitome of success. You take charge of your life. How do you take charge of your life?
- Don't blame anybody for your failures.........blame yourself
- Take advice from people but make the decisions for yourself......people should not make decision for you.
- Make no excuses for failures
- Take responsibility for whatever happen to you.
- Don't let people think for you.......................Think for yourself

Business5 Business Lessons I Learned From The Richest African Billionaires by maasflan(op): 7:02pm On Oct 23, 2015
[img][img][/img][img][/img]

Lesson one: Problems are opportunities
The first business lesson I learn from the African billionaires is that problems are not what they seem to be. The’ve taught me that problems are simply opportunities in disguise. Africa is often regarded as the third world; a continent engulfed in strife, political poverty and corruption.

Yet, in the midst of all these; some men stood their ground and built wealth where the poverty level is rated high. What lesson does this entail? The lesson here is simple: people’s problems are simply avenue to generate wealth; if only you can position yourself as a problem solver. The billionaires in Africa listed above were critical problem solvers; and that was why they became billionaires.

What is the Primary Duty of an Entrepreneur?

Mike Adenuga and Mo Ibrahim solved the telecommunication problem in Africa; Aliko Dangote provided the basic needs of Nigerians and Africans in general while Patrice Motsepe helped Africa maximize her potentials with respect to mineral resources. So regardless of your region or predicament; just focus on solving problems and you may join this list of richest Africans.

Lesson two: Money is not seen with your eyes
The second lesson I learned from Africa’s richest billionaires is that money is not seen with your eyes. If money can be seen with the eyes; the world would probably be running down to Africa because of the potentials she holds; but unfortunately, money is not seen with the eyes.

While others see Africa as a poverty stricken continent; these billionaires saw the hidden potentials in Africa. While others were screaming “stay away from Africa”, these men stood their grounds and invested in Africa and that’s why they became billionaires. Once again, I restate the lesson; money is not seen with your eyes. You can only see money with your mind; that’s if your mind has been trained to spot business opportunities amongst problems.

Lesson three: Concentrate on your strength
How do you become a billionaire? This is one question most people ask online. Well, there are several factors to becoming a billionaire and one of such factors is concentration. Take a close observation of the richest billionaires in Africa and you will note that they concentrated on their core strengths. They did not diversify their effort; they concentrated on what they know how to do best.

Aliko Dangote concentrated on commodities; Femi Otedola concentrated on diesel, Mo Ibrahim focused on telecoms and Patrice Motsepe concentrated on mineral mining. So if you are going to achieve extraordinary success; if you want to build a success business empire, then you must learn to concentrate your efforts on your core.

Nairaland GeneralThe Land Is Green by maasflan(op): 6:36pm On Oct 20, 2015
When i say the land is green. That means its ready for harvest. The land i am referring to here is your domain, your area, your city and your country. What do you see when you examine your country?Do you see problem bound country or opportunity bound country? This depends on the kind of mentality you have towards your country.
Those with the wright kind of mentality will see their country as green, while those with the wrong mentality
will see their country as yellow.Green land here means a land of peace, growth, opportunity, plenty e.t.c.While yellow land means a land of shortages, poverty, problem, disappointment e.t.c Don''t for get that ''As a man thinks in his heart,so is it''.No country on this earth is problem free. That means opportunities abound every where, only if we can see it.YOUR COUNTRY IS GREEN AND ITS READY FOR HARVEST.
Harvesting is for everybody, buy quality harvesting is not for everybody, its only for those who can
-See with their inner mind(see what others do not see)
-Have the wright mentality
-Can use their brain to think excellently
-Have a never say die spirit(not quitting)
-Have confidence, boldness to face and defeat challenges e.t.c
Have you got all these qualities....Welcome to the green land for quality harvest. And if you don't have it,work on yourself and have it.........................contd...... http://olufemimausi..com.ng
