The US attacks are almost entirely coming from naval asset off the Omani coast.

What is going on here is that Iran understands the US is unwilling to wage this war and lose soldiers as it can't explain american losses to its people. But they know Israelis don't have that problem. 90% of Israeli society is willing to go to war with Iran. Therefore Israel can tolerate even upwards of 1000 casualty. In its six day war with Egypt, Syria, Iraq and Jordan Israel lost 1000 people though it took close to 20,000 casualties from its enemies and yet won the war.

When the US and Israel joined to attack Iran, it was the US calming Israel. The Israelis did more damage and assassinated a lot of key people in Iran. And guess what, the new Iranian leaders don't want to die either. They've learnt it as far back as Farackhideh that when Israel wants to kill someone in Iran it's a matter of time.

I was thinking whether they'd be foolish enough to shoot at Israel. But obviously they are not yet foolish enough.
