I just got a notice from DHL that says

"Shipment has been given a release by Customs. Unless there is an adhoc exam or a stop by another regulatory authority the shipment will proceed to delivery"

I supposed that means no custom charges?! I don dey dance self

Don't conclude yet o. They sometimes calculate such fee with your money at collection point.

Na so them charge me 30k plus fee for ordinary 3 small bottles of Manuka honey about 2 years ago.

If tweaking enthusiasts who are guests too can be referred to the tweaking thread, I don't think that should be a problem with ads if we are serious about the issue.

Nothing stops them from dropping further ads on subsequent pages today if there are no other sellers to drop ad na

As a matter of fact, imagine with a 2 ad per day "moderation", macbeyland has exhausted his slots for d day. Who happens if we add about 10 pages more for the day? His ads would be on far behind pages. Still today.

What happens on a day we barely complete a page.
Other sellers are to hold. Funny enough, the subsequent page might be taken by the previous seller as well.

But like I told you yesterday, on ads, I stand with the consensus, so far it'll bind absolutely.

I wouldn't mind bro. The most important thing now is for us to have a consensus so it will be binding. If we continue to deliberate without reaching an agreement, a seller can post with the argument that no decision has yet been reached. If the agreement is one ad per day, I'm pretty OK with that.

My suggestions

Sellers should create a whatsapp group and take turn to post adds, d whatsapp group will be for u guys to update each oda and take turns to drop add/ reminder on who's turn it is to drop an add, this will eliminate d issue of 2 - 3 adds being dropped accidentally.

Thanks

Another very valid point...... This can even be included in whatever agreement is reached here.

Ok. What if we have say just 3/4 pages a day? What then happens as we can't deny we have so many sellers already. What would you propose?

Hmmm. You have a point there. But any day we would have just 3-4 pages a day (rare) would mean less traffic on the forum and on those days, sellers should not care too much about not posting ads on the thread.

I want to believe that this was already deliberated upon and resolved.

One ad per page. Why is it so difficult to adhere to? Why are people like this?

Cc honsule

Fibonacci suggested something yesterday about ads. I think we should all deliberate on it and reach a conclusion because that 'one ad per day' flat rule will certainly not work. We have more sellers on this thread now and the rule should be flexible enough to accommodate everyone.

fibonacci2526:
We need more people to contribute so we can at least make this "official"

I think the 1 ad per day will be too little because on a good day, we might have more than 10 pages in a day. I think 2 ads per day won't be a bad idea.

not free for sellers.

A reasonable percentage of items shipped by packet plus will warrant refund or new shipment. As a seller, the risk outweighs the likely benefit

.

The post office people might even target such shipments knowing that they aren't tracked.
