genius43:
My alarm didn't wake me up well around 12am, I guess that one too is a bug.

Yes o. It's not even me that's typing this message. My phone is just typing by itself, big BUG.

Seems like the most used word here is ' bug' since everybody who has any difficulty locating a menu setting comes here to scream bug, me sef I sleep keep my phone for bed, wake up see am for ground, be like say Miui get bug for that aspect.

Good morning, no to both questions.

Am using the Chinese version of MI Max 3,English Language is an option and Chinese Apps can be uninstalled..personally I think the Global version is waste of money for Nigerians, since the LTE bands are mostly available here..

I share your view brother.

Una well-done o0o xiaomi people,

A formal complaint brought my attention to this thread, even though my attention has always been on this thread because of the posts always being reported.

I was gona thrash this thread a long time ago because it was some sort of haven for adverts and related which is against phone section rules but I decided to let it be because the thread had other useful purposes but recently, I've been getting many reported posts due to the fact that they're ads, and it won't be fair if some people take the trouble to post their ads on tech market and phone market while some still choose to break the rules, especially since there seem to be a popular opinion by those here that adverts should go.

I shouldn't be asking but I hope it is the final resolution?

Boss welcome. Long time

ajog1:
Bruh, you are spoiling your market oh! You ought to be encouraging your clients to keep up with the trends by buying the latest gadgets; at least they can pride themselves with the up-to-date smartphones if the most recent cars are way off reach

.. Lol, spoiling my market?

I only gave a fact,

Another fact is that no matter what anyone says, people will still spend on the latest gadgets.

Has the warning that smokers are liable to die young stopped people from smoking?

Have the warnings of God stopped people from committing sin?

DonX001:
Guys pls, where can I buy original Xiaomi phones physically in Lagos?
I really can't wait for the duration of ordering online, as my main phone is really misbehaving, and I need to change it today.
I've checked SLOT, MicroStation and 3CHub in Computer Village like 3 days ago, and they all don't have it.
And I couldn't buy from any random shop in Computer Village cos I don't trust those guys one bit.
Where can I buy one physically TODAY?

Also, which Xiaomi phone would you advise I buy?
My most important needs are super-fast speed, LOOONG battery life (I can't be charging phones everyday because of my work), and top notch reliability (don't need any issues with the phone hanging on apps or other funny behaviours).

My budget is around 100k, can be flexible and go slightly above if really necessary, but the cheaper the better, as long as its top notch quality.

Abeg answers needed ASAP.

CC: Genius43, Macbeyland, GrandMufti, and any other person that can help out.
Thanks.

Good day Sir. I currently have Redmi note 5 Ai 64gb black which you can get in Lagos as early as tomorrow evening. The ones i had in lag were bought yesterday. It has to be waybilled from Port Harcourt.

I think Redmi note 5 fits your demands, and it's cheaper than 100k. Chat me up on 08062907289

If na u need am, just look for one cool sound bar jare.

Will PC you bro.

alosbaba007:
First of all narrow ur search down to 3 products

SONY
SAMSUNG
LG

Nowadays home theatre is a thing of the past its call Audio receivers now, dey dnt come with cd slot but includes tons of connectivity options.

Get the ones with metal speakers they last longer than the rubber ones.

My current setup is LG AUD - ARX8500 its retails for 170-200k now and has 5 speakers & 2 subwoofers.

The main thing u want to do is check d connectivity options it offers (cd d is a thing of the past)

Make ur research on Audio receivers from manufacturers listed above.
Sony produces the best sound and its d most expensive.

Cheers

I bought one Sony Dav Dz710 some years ago, the experience wasn't nice at all. The home theater was terribly poor. The sound wasn't even synchronized as you would hear the subwoofer playing separately from the other speakers which is an anomaly. I later changed that set for another fairly used Sony blue ray player BDV model still retaining the speakers of the first home theater, the change didn't make any difference.
