Internet yes you get infor about what u want to buy. Mr seller technology knowledge differs, they ask you cos they knw you using the product. It is simply a Nigerian thing. This thread started cos someone spoke about unknown xiaomi product.
I dropped my Samsung for xiaomi just because of the testimonies I heard from the users on this thread.
Some of use airtel or glo etc , and with all their advert on TV we still call customer care to ask questions about ther stuffs we are not sure about.
The problem is some sellers think they are God here. So I see nothing wrong in asking such questions. Bro, such questions are wrong in the area of ambiguity. 'tell me about xiaomi' where do you want the seller to start from? Is it the company, their products, the managers, their business strategy? Ah! Ah!! |

Your are wrong Mr, one of the reseller was stupidly rude to me to too cos I told him what I observed. So don't say he was not ready to buy. He wouldn't have contacted d reseller if not ready and remember our knowledge about phones differs so I must question if I paying for stuff and u must be able to answer as a reseller or you Bleep off. Buyers normally should make research on what they are buying. The internet is rich with diverse info on virtually everything. Questions should be specific to the item to be bought and the transaction Questions like .. 'Tell me about xiaomi', 'Give me a list of all device they have and spec'........ are really ambiguous |

Aside that, he posted a fone here with its price, but when i chatted him up d price was diff. Was asking why d difference in price from what he posted, he told me ask buhari
Here is prove Ask Buhari is simply another way of telling you he doesn't control the economic parameters that determine the price change of goods. ...... Truth is some customers chat up resellers with that 'customer is always right' mentality. Some even assume a position of superiority as if the reseller should kowtow when in fact the ideal is for an atmosphere of mutual respect and understanding between both parties. |

I swear some resellers don't know how to relate with their customers. I added one guy here, don't want to mention his name. Right from d onset, he was just bashing for asking questions, I took it with faith kept chatting with him becoz i know i have my temper issues too, asked him if he has mi band 3. Baba was telling me I should go and buy elsewhere as if I didnt know b4 I contacted him. No time to waste time. If na nxt yr I go buy my phone. No p, but ain't buying from a rude seller I'm sure the reseller will also have his side of the story to tell. I also think you should mention names so as not to put everyone in suspense and as suspect. |

I have never had to pay custom fees more than N500 for all my orders in aliexpress... I got a phone worth 55k (Redmi 6 pro) around October from aliexpress and I paid only N300 to clear it You speak as though you are physically went to customs to clear the cargo with 300 naira. You were simply lucky that your package wasn't routed to customs. What you paid was nipost handling fee. Many people who ordered items in the past 4 weeks weren't that lucky. I'm quite sure you wouldn't be this assertive if you hard placed phone orders within the last few weeks. A few weeks ago I had 3 phone package and all 3 were billed customs duty, the lowest being 4k. I would advise you to mark the statement of yours so we can refer to it the day Nipost customs will decide to treat your file. |
