dominique: I wanted to ask if you opened any link or attachment for the hacker to gain access but then I remembered how my Yahoo mail got hacked without me clicking on anything and my security question and recovery mails were changed immediately. Till date, I've been unable to recover it.
I don't understand how Softdeals managed to miss the broadcast message in your Whatsapp group before sending the coins. Till now, he has not posted any evidence of him sending all that coins to the said wallet, all he shows us is screenshot of his chat with the hacker. I'm afraid he will also need to bear the loss which resulted from his negligence, that's if he's not connected with the hacker. Good morning Dominique. Ibraheem009 has shot himself on the leg, I am only replying this because you are an instituted authority here. I am glad the internet never forgets. 1. I agree with you that emails are easily hacked but we all know that same can’t be said about an account protected with 2Fa. 2. To unlock a WhatsApp account protected with 2Fa takes weeks, and must be done from the email with back and forth messages and provision of personal info, like valid means of ID and few other security checks as the case May be. I was expecting you to ask which day his email was hacked and how it automatically affected his 2Fa. 3. If you are the originator of a message on WhatsApp and forward it to 100groups, whatsapp omits the “forwarded” tag on the message. I don’t need to enter a group on WhatsApp to drop a message, secondly if I do, I am not mandated to read all the messages in over 120 groups I belong to on WhatsApp just because I want to drop an advert. It is illogical to assume that I saw that he has been hacked and sacrificed approx 4mil. 4. All evidences( hash, screenshots, video recordings etc) you will ever require to prove that I had a legitimate transaction are in the possession of Ibraheem009 and i dont choose to bring it up here because he has made up his mind not to pay me. 5. Without waiting for the police to determine how and who hacked him he quickly rushed to run a smear campaign. What right does he have to defame me in public? Truth is if Ibraheem009 asks me to come and take my money I won’t. This case is no longer Just about my loss, it has gone way beyond that. |

kaboninc: Let me explain a few things to you and also to others although I have very strong conviction that 90% of active members on this thread are scammers so they'll be angry with what I have to say.
Please note that your phone number can be compromised. Especially MTN lines. Someone can take bar you from making calls and receiving text messages. I was a victim and I'm still a victim. So many times I've had my number compromised.
So when the hacker compromises your phone number, they can then divert all incoming text messages. Now you're Internet savvy and you have a couple of accounts you opened with this phone number. In order to boost security, most of these websites ask you to register with your phone number so they can send you a unique code which you'll submit. And this code, once authenticated, confirms you're the owner of the account. So if you have issues accessing the account, the website will try to use that same number which you registered to verify you.
Now you're exposed to that site via your phone number. So a hacker compromises your number, diverts all incoming text messages and they maliciously inform the website that you don't have access to that account. The website sends you a code and now you can imagine the damage that can cause you.
That is what happened to Ibraheem.
Yahoo is known to be heavily compromised. So it's advised that you do not use a phone number on your Yahoo. Just this morning, an attempt was made on my yahoomail.
I hope you and others now understand how one can easily be hacked by just your phone number.
In my case, the compromised my phone number, hacked my yahoo, entered one of my Gmail which I used and hacked it, then tried to reset my paxful. They were not successful. Else I'd have lost a lot of coins.
As for Tobby, I keep asking, if your vehicle is stolen and used to commit a crime, will you take responsibility and serve jail time? No wonder you advised him to quickly block his lines did Ibraheem009 tell you I called him 6mins later to ask why I wasn’t paid and he received the call to tell me his WhatsApp has been compromised, so what’s your explanation for that, his call wasn’t barred and we all know there is no special code for barring just sms when calls are going through. I hope you will come out to explain this to a physical audience in support of Ibraheem009 when the time comes. |

Tabbaz: I don't question Ibrahim for a number reasons
1. He paid all the victims except one. He has even paid part of the last person before he realised that the person may have cockroach in his cupboard
2. He didn't have any bad record before this and the person accusing him is known for his previous bad records
3. Traders emails and phone numbers are not hidden. People trade with them and send fund to the emails. Although it is wise to use private email for whatsapp 2f security, but some people don't know this.
I Stand to be corrected though Tabbaz the demigod of nairaland. The man who plans to buy nairaland from Seun Osewa. 2. The Judge of Nigerians who are vulnerable. The proclaimer of scammer and the authorities fear you because you are greater than any living authority, the constitution of nairaland and even bigger than the mods and Seun osewa who turn a blind eye to your impunity. You are not a man of love, you are a man of war. Indaboski pahose. 3. You are in Malaysia or whichever country and because you know extraditing is expensive you sit behind your computer and incite your stewards to act without regard. I will advise you to give Ibraheem009 all the evidences you have that I perpetrated a scam and gather all the victims because he will be the scape Goat. Justice takes time but on this issue it must be served. |

HazzanTazzan: @dominique
As much as i dont wann take sides on this issue btw ibraheem009 and softdeel, i think both lf them arent ready to disprove the other.
I suggested ibraheem shld meet soft in peeson to see the chat btw him and the hacker which will clear any doubts abt him truly sending the funds but ibraheem waved the suggestion...
Also i suggested it to softdeel and he didnt give it attention...
Na una know o I and Ibraheem009 was added to a dispute resolution group manned by WafMart. I showed Ibraheem009 a video evidence of my chat with his number(the one he is claiming was hacked) and dropped screenshots of transaction and hash, everyone was beyond convinced. I was also willing to meet up with Ibraheem009 and show him myself if he really wanted a peaceful resolution. I believe Ibraheem009 believed if he went on a smear campaign together with his accomplices Kaboninc, Modath Abuhazzan and co. he will silence me and take the 2mil. He boldly told me I shouldn’t expect a dime from him. I have gone through a lot of emotional, mental and psychological trauma, and that has been passed down to my wife and kid as well, I am not sure I even want a peaceful resolution anymore. It’s now about my reputation. Instead of resolving the issue at hand see how quick Ibraheem009 and his gang were quick to tell everyone I was on the scammers list. Even if he gives me the money now I won’t collect. He needs to understand that defamation is wrong in every way and he should start gathering all the people I scammed with their evidences. Justice takes time but in this issue it must be served. |

chelseamann: I have really learn a lot from this your unfortunate experience..I feel soo bad for you sir...I urge each and every one of you here to try and get a new SIM (No single soul should have this number), Use it and activate 2fa in all your online accounts. ( if you can afford an extra Nokia torch just for the this sim, do it. Whenever you need 2fa code, you power the SIM on, when you are through, you power it off). It's just my suggestion and I believe I'm making common sense. you don’t need all this bro. Nothing to learn, there is no evidence to prove his talk and you and I know it doesn’t make logical sense. Just like corona virus, we hear about it but no one knows anyone who has experienced it. |

Ibraheem009: The hacker found a way to byepass the verification code SMS. The email I used for my WhatsApp is gmail but the recovery mail for the gmail was yahoomail. The hacker hacked the recovery email to gain access to the gmail. After gaining access to my WhatsApp gmail, the hacker then reset my 2fa code via the gmail. The hacker then set new 2fa for the account and then attach a new email to the WhatsApp. It was a highly planned work. So, to recover the WhatsApp was not possible. The hacker also tried to hack into my paxful wallet but fortunately, I used another number for receiving 2f from my paxful. The hacker already compromised the 07063611172. Suppose I used it for receiving paxful 2f, he would av bypassed the 2f and then send out coins in my wallet too. So, it was a highly planned work. does this make logical sense? Even if it is possible has he shown anyone here? Has anyone asked him to drop pictorial evidence to back up this claim? Pride goes before a fall. |

jidobaba: Valid questions @davisk11 Ibraheem009 said his 2fa was changed via his compromised email. Without the hacker taking over your SIM as well then this is high level stuff and we should all be afraid. Also we need to ask about the other people that claimed they paid to the address too. Are they strangers? Who advised you to pay them all off?
I'm concerned about this because I narrowly avoided the scam. Anybody that's ever messaged me know that I never send first, no matter who you are. But somehow I trusted ibraheem and sent to him first. He delivered and I was happy - finally someone I can trade with without the hassle of escrow. This was about 2 weeks ago. The day he got 'hacked' I was going to trade $2k before I stumbled across the post on nairaland. You can imagine my shock. They all carefully avoided your posts. It is not Comprehend-able how the hack was perpetrated but he wants to quickly silence me and take approx 2mil. Integrity is in action, but Ibraheem009 is everything he is accusing me of. No one is asking him to pay the fourth victim but without evidence the fourth victim who you’ve been dealing with is now the one who hacked you. Even my Late Grandfather will send me back if I don’t get my money back before going to be with the Lord. |

jidobaba: Interesting. But that doesn't explain how the other 3 people that claimed they got scammed also managed to send to the same address. @softdealz actions are suspicious but not conclusive. Now it turns out he was on the scam list all this time? How? And Ibraheem009 should NEVER have sent funds he never recieved. More than 2m to strange people? On what evidence? Whose advice? Na jazz? All this is very strange. I'm still interested in exactly how the whatsapp got hacked through his email, at least we can all learn. What God will judge us too much. They freely call me scammer, hype my dispute case that even those who don’t know me will feel I am a killer. Ironically, all of them deal with me but are quick to conspire and smear my reputation. Modath, Kaboninc, Abuhazzan to mention a few, check if any of them took a minute to call out Ibraheem009 to educate everyone on how he was hacked with a 2FA activated and his sim in his possession. We want to learn how mtn now shares a line between two people. Ibraheem009 knows my name is on scammers list and a lot of them here and they know it was deliberately orchestrated so as to get competitive advantage not knowing the sky is big enough. They all still deal with me. Ibraheem009 doesn’t use one single wallet reason I didn’t mind double checking his wallet. |

Davisk11: They way ibrahee009 rushed the payment was too fast I must say this...n those helped him to handle the matter did not help at all.... paying such huge amount of money without proper investigation is totally unacceptable...I was telling myself when I saw Hazzantazzan posted it on WhatsApp that ibraheem009 was hacked after reading all the posts made by some people that they sent coins to him I was like YES ...we have people that ll help him to handle the matter very well without anyone at lost...but on group WhatsApp the following day I saw a post dropped by one person that ibraheem009 has paid the affected ones but remain one person to be cleared fully...I was kilode so fast...I was expecting like 3-7days investigation should be launched to ascertain the truth of the matter...I remember one person qouted softdeal that he should drop transactions review and some stuff but the guy said he had not transacted with him for so long...there I knew something was totally wrong ...why would you sent such huge money without due diligence carried out even with phone call or WhatsApp video.... someone you've transacted with for sometimes not even this year ....n you went ahead n sent coins whereas another news stated they broadcasted it where both of them belong in which I believed the guy would read the broadcast that night.....something is not right at all. $8k+ is not small money even in the USA, and your instincts is right. No one will see a message showing an individual was hacked and still sacrifice approx 4mil. In WhatsApp I create message in a group and forward it to other groups. If you are the originator of a message WhatsApp omits the “forwarded” tag. I praise Ibraheem009 for quickly paying other victims and without dropping a single evidence for us to learn from his hack turned the tables and it’s now about my integrity. I even learned that kaboninc asked him to block his line quickly, I am still wondering if it’s to destroy evidence or his gang just realized that you can’t convince a Judge that you where hacked with your phone in your possession and your line free from any compromise. Let’s see how it ends.. |

dominique: I'm afraid he won't be able to respond except he creates a new handle. You are right, it is normal for humans to stand with the crowd it’s usually very convenient but it’s stupid for Ibraheem009 to think he will sleep when I convinced him beyond measure that I dealt with him. I even called him when I didn’t receive payment after 6mins and his phone was in his possession. Ibraheem009 case is a mystery to even the most computer savvy individuals in Africa. He keeps insinuating without proofs and even the mods take sides. Justice takes time but it will definitely be served. |

Nsonaso: Well said bro.
That is why I also requested the person who claimed he sent 8k btc to send us hash ID.
To the little best of my knowledge hash ID can't be forged to show the exact day and time and amount of BTC sent to that address. I have dropped all proofs including hash with Ibraheem009. I wonder why he keeps quiet when he sees comments like this. |

znox: This issue of $8k must not be handled without due diligence. I am not taking side, but will only drop my suggestion. If a person claim to have a chat with my stolen number, and was scammed and I had to clear such debit to save my reputation. All that I would require is full verification of his/her claim in a more proper manner. I will make this clear. Sending me a screenshot of chat to me on WhatsApp is not a valid claim for me to refund and clear such a huge sum of money to save my reputation. Why you may ask, it is because a chat can be forged on WhatsApp showing my phone number or name as the person you made the chat with which would look exactly as if it was with my stolen phone number. It only takes saving the phone number you are using to reply the chat as if it was the hacker with my stolen phone number or name as it would be displayed on WhatsApp and may even include the photo on my account.
Both parties in this case may need interrogation, but if the affected trader ibraheem009 actually made an earlier declaration of his WhatsApp hacked I don't know what kind of interrogation those clamoring for really want. Whether they are insinuating he faked the hack or what, seems vague though. I believe ibraheem009 can pay all the affected which he already did completely for some, and also I had a feelings that someone could also take advantage of this happening.
Softdealz should not result into forceful resolution to get the remaining balance of $4k. This is around 2M and total of almost 4M, ibraheem009 be wise, don't throw money out blindly. If you have an office and your company was hacked to commit a nefarious act don't you know the right thing to do was to ask them (especially when the sum is large) to come to your office so you can verify their claims. This doesn't mean you will not pay him/them but you must be sure that the claim is actually one the misfortune that result from the hack. It improper to accuse any of the affected person for the hack and unfortunate lost of their funds. All you must do is ask the person to save his chat and not loss it, if they do case close. Invite him or her, verify the chat in their phone, view the section attached to this post, also from the person WhatsApp use view phone number in address book, to also check the phone number is yours and you may also dial it to see it ring on your mobile which you have the sim. And for goodness sake please ibraheem009 go to your network provider and reclaim your sim if you don't have it anymore even if you won't be using it anymore. Because you don't know what may come up next, this time might not be WhatsApp.
Once all these can be verified, ibraheem009 at your own discretion pay the victim completely.
cc Tabbaz cc Dominique I am Softdealz Dealership Fopdnewton Realdealz Mackdavid This is what I expected, a thorough investigation and proofs before payment. Ibraheem009 said he had reported to the police, I was expecting him to add all victims in a group drop proofs of the hack attempt and probably ask us to be patient to ascertain the cause but he went on a sharing money spree which was also a quick way to resolve so he can concentrate to get to the root of the issue. Surprisingly, 3 of the victims were paid and then he turned the tables and without dropping a single evidence of hack he started defaming me and claiming I hacked his account. All evidence that you will ever need that I did a legitimate transaction with Ibraheem009 is with him. Finally, how will I see that Ibraheem009 was hacked and then dash scammer $8k+. This forum is full of hypocrisy. I replied you Sir cos you really stood in the middle but they won’t see your comment. |
