Somali military today Sunday, January 3, executed a soldier by firing squad after he was convicted of killing a civilian. He was strapped to wooden posts in scrubland and riddled with bullets. Military court assistant, Abdullahi Husein Mohamed told journalists on the spot that Mahiye Dyayow, 26, was convicted of killing a civilian in the town.
"On July 4, 2015 the first degree court of the military sat for the punishment case against defendant Mahiye Dyayow, aged 26 and who is ex-Security Agency soldier. On 10th February 2015, he killed late Mohamed Qassim Borow. This will serve a good example to allgovernment forces, which should ensure reliable peace. This is to avoid killings and safeguard our Somali people. Any soldier who kills a person or loots property or food at the market or in refugee camps will be executed likewise." Dear Nigerians, Africans and anywhere else who cares, I am a VERY close family friend to the Adelekes and have been around even since when Sophia and David met. I ONLY remain anonymous for the sake of my well-being. But I want to address the latest scandal between Sophia Momodu and David Adeleke.
I speak up NOW after reading the latest letter supposedly written by David and the pictures he has post. Because I am sick and tired of his oppression with his surname and daddy's money. For years, I've watched this family mistreat people due to their "status"(Dads 'wealth' from stolen funds) YET, No ONE speaks up to him in the home because he is the "baby" and the "superstar".


He always had and has his way. In our culture we do not disrespect our elders but everywhere we go he does. Ask immigration officers, banking officials: omo my guy is rude! And you guys have seen, read severally on social media his continuous lack of manners towards Mr Dele Momodu...still up to date referrin to Mr Dele "daring" and insulting him and his wife. No fear. No regard. No respect. Who even raised you self?

Borno state hunters have appealed to the Nigerian Army to allow them access into the dreaded Sambisa forest which is believed to be the camp of the terror group, Boko Haram. The emir of hunters in the state Mai-Gana Mai-Durma while addressing the media in Maiduguri said they are very familiar with the terrain of the much dreaded forest and so should be allowed to go in and fight the terrorist.

“We are appealing to the military authorities to allow us join the fight against Boko Haram at the Sambisa forest. We are ready to pursue the terrorists because we know the terrain very well. We will overrun Sambisa in partnership with members of the civilian JTF if given the opportunity. This will help to complement the effort of military in the anti terrorism operation. Hunters from all the 27 Borno LGAs are all in Maiduguri with our leaders doing nothing at present because of Boko Haram. Rather than idling away, we will want to assist the military in crushing Boko Haram terrorists.”he said
